No probs with this place. I've only come across one nurse who was abrupt, perhaps she was having a bad day. All other nurses and receptionists have been exemplary.

Been here a few times to give blood. In and out in minutes all done. Maybe one downside was I wanted to get a NHS dentist , and was told not a chance. I thought NHS was free for everyone , so why NO !

Went to the Walk In yesterday 16th June, had insect bites on my leg which had become infected. In and out within 30 minutes with a prescription for antibiotics, waited longer in the Boots Chemist to get my prescription. All the staff in the Walk In were helpful and pleasant

Wife took grandson this there morning (17/12/23), man on the door said not open today, reason they had no nurses, what's the point in the place, doesn't Halewood deserve better?

I think something/ review should be done with this walk in, for years they have sent kids away saying viral, viral and viral or take them to hospital if they don't know what is wrong and then this covers themselves. The reason for a local walk in is so a sick child doesnt have to wait around when they are ill and hospitals are not over-run..from my experience the child with the so called viral infection always ends up in hospital because they have been ill and left to think it's viral. These nurses are abrupt and can't wait to get you out and when it is quite empty you sit for hrs waiting for one of them to call you..I must say the odd one is good and caring but I have never or anyone I know has never had a good experience here and we have to travel to take the kids to either Smithdown or worse to the hospital. Why has Halewood got a walk in??

I couldn’t fault this place. After previously waiting 30 minutes at Widnes walk in centre for advice only, I was seen by a nurse and the only advice she gave me without asking about my symptoms was to go to Halewood walk in centre. Why the reception staff couldn’t have told me, I’ll never know. So I arrive at Halewood walk in and immediately called to reception; she was lovely and friendly, took all my details and told me to take a seat in the waiting room. I sent my husband a quick text and was called in to be seen. Nurse was very efficient, did my obs and checked the areas I complained of. A diagnosis was made, and prescription sent to the pharmacy next door and 20 minutes later I went home.
