Absolute Shambles of a Company, office staff absolutely useless. My Family members visits are regularly missed with no contact made to family to inform us of this. On occasion they have phoned my family member who they know has dementia to say the Carer’s won’t be, the office and management staff obviously have no understanding of Dementia. Recently there has been no continuity in my family members care with different Carer’s in at every visit if they arrive or agency Staff from another company Called Florence, this is very concerning as service users could be letting anyone into there home due to the lack of continuity and different people. The Carer’s don’t know the tasks they have to do therefore a very unacceptable level of care is being provided, it is verging on neglect. There has been two occasions in the last week were medication has not been administered or taken from the wrong days on the dossit box. Care diary’s are often not filled in therefore we have no idea if a carer has been in and my relative has had food. The care plans written are a complete joke and just a tick box excercise, with no meaning. There are 2 Carer’s who are absolutely fantastic but are completely let down by their management and coordination team. As for personal care, my family member is meant to have a bath twice per week and they only get it if a certain girl is on, so if family didn’t assist to do so they would be luck to get one twice per month. For them to state they are “A quality provider of care and support services” is beyond laughable. If this company cannot provide the care they have been contracted to by the local council they should give back the contract. Having a care package in place should put families minds at ease, for us as a family having Clyde Homecare as our provider gives us nothing but worry .
