As newly vegan we were struggling to find a decent takeaway we tried lil mamas last night and all I can say is wow what amazing tasty food absolutely lovely I had the vegan hotdog with mac and sheeze and vegan bacon bitsIt was massive and tasted sooo good

I have supported lil mamas for a long time as the food is so delicious. Last night was my birthday we waited 3 hours for our meal to be delivered ..phone call 2 hours after we ordered to say they had run out of the main ingredient of my choice told it was on its way rang again it wasn’t ready text to say they were 9 minutes away half an hour later still hadn’t arrived. Such a shame the organisation is so poor because as I said the food is delicious

Always fantastic food and delivered hot. We've enjoyed everything we've tried so far, No Lil Piggy" is probably the best burger I've ever had. The delivery does take a little longer but that's not a problem as the food is 10/10 - always want to come back for more :)"

I went to Li'l Mamas for the first time today for my lunch. As a full on meat eater I haven't tried vegan food before but after meeting Nikki and seeing the menu I thought I would try it. I had the vegan kebab and I was not disappointed!!! it was really tasty and full of flavour, it was all cooked fresh and prepared in house. I will deffintly be going back to try what else they have on offer.

My first time ordering from here tonight and waited 2 and a half hours for my food to turn up. I called the takeaway around 8pm to see where it was and the gent on the phone said it was on its way but that there was 2 deliveries before mine. I then waited another hour, called the takeaway again to be told it hadn’t even left yet!! Absolutely appalled to be honest. My Mac n cheese didn’t turn up which I ordered. Luckily my main meal did. I’ve gotta say the food was great and arrived hot. The delivery let them down big time, such a shame. I understand it’s Saturday night but they shouldn’t be accepting more orders if they can’t keep up! I appreciate the free drinks they sent to apologise but unfortunately it doesn’t make up for waiting all night.

Such a welcome surprise to find a vegan place in the area, especially during lockdown - was very happy to find a gem! This place is perfect for a dinner or lunch. Very happy with the service - not only was the portion size hearty (I ordered a kebab wrap) but they gave me more than the sauces I asked for, and topped with a sweet message from the restaurant (and candies)! Highly recommended.

We ordered quite late (around closing time of restaurant), and opted for collection. However, as tourists with low phone batteries, we were not able to find the place, so we called the restaurant to change our order to delivery. The owner changed it to delivery quickly without any cost to us and food delivery was made at our hotel (even when it was very late in the night). Really liked the kind attitude and service of the owner, and the food was very tasty as well. Would recommend if you are looking for very good vegetarian or vegan options.

Absolutely Delicious! I had a vegan lasagne, walnut salad and little roast potatoes. It was the best Vegan dish I've ever eaten. Thank you so much.The delivery driver was lovely and I met the owner today, who is also lovely.I will be ordering again in the very near future.I wish you every success x

I badly want to give 5 stars as the food is absolutely delicious, but I can't excuse the delivery. Every single time I have ordered, the food has arrived hours late. Totally understand it gets busy, but it's literally every time. Ordered last night at 7:30pm. At 9.30, it still hadn't arrived so I called and was told it would be about another hour as my order hadn't even been started yet. I then received a call at about 10:45, to be told that my food was still going to be a couple of hours and they offered to deliver it tomorrow evening instead. At this point I agreed, because it was past 10pm and we still had no dinner. Then just past midnight, our food turned up- meaning I'd wasted my money as after being told we weren't getting it tonight, we'd eaten something else! This really needs to be worked on and improved- I can't say I want to order again which is a shame, as the food is deserving of 5 stars.

I never normally post reviews, but this was so spectacularly awful I feel compelled to warn people. We ate in, and had to wait TWO AND A HALF HOURS for our main courses. They were from the Portuguese menu, and were absolutely dreadful. No atmosphere, not enough staff, no wine cooler for the table. Amateur beyond belief. They at least knocked two bottle of wine off the bill, but our spoilt evening still cost £112 (for 6, even though my daughter actually sent her dish back and didn't eat a main). I guess we should have read the other reviews warning about the ridiculous wait times. Needless to say we won't be hurrying back. I have only given it one star as that's the minimum in order to post a review.
