It's amazing this tree has been living on our planet for more than a 1000 years.

What an amazing experience. We got to have long cuddles with the 10day old lambs, meet Hamish the Shetland pony and brush his beautifully soft hair then we got to feed the lambs a bottle.....which he gulped down is seconds!Very wet and muddy so don't forget your wellies ;)The oak is a beautiful site and such a magnificent tree.My 2 year and 4 year old have had a wonderful time here. Hopefully next year it will be warmer ;)

Amazing place with an amazing, massive oak tree with a girth of 13.33 meters.Whilst this is not the widest oak tree in the UK, as often claimed, as it is surpassed by the Marton Oak in Cheshire with its girth of 14.02 meters, it is much more intact than that tree is, and has a much healthier crown. And I found it a lot prettier (although it is noticeably smaller than the Cheshire oak)The tree is hollow inside, and apparently it was used as a dining room in the past! Well worth a visit

Excellent experience, to stand and admire a tree that was already 100 years old when Alfred the Great was born, and has a gerth larger than my mother in law is quite awe inspiring. Regarding the visit, friendly staff (family run) with a few other activities for the children and dad (drive a big tractor). Will be returning in near future for a private visit to actually enter the Oak it's self.

What a lovely family running this peaceful farm. The public area is quite small but the entry fee is very modest and there is the beautiful oak as well as pigs, donkeys, sheep and cows, pedal tractors and a sandpit for the children and refreshments, as well as a warm welcome from all the family! Will definitely be returning.

The second oldest oak in England and the one with the largest girth. Who knew? And it's right here in our backyard. Staff was great, the meat looked delicious. Good to see a local family owned farm doing well.

A nice farm visit to see the oak and lambing with our youngest. He loved it, no live lambing though but probably due to the time we visited

Lovely park farm located in beautiful undulating landscape. Home of Britain’s largest oak tree.
