I recently had the pleasure of savoring the most delectable chicken tacos from this Mexican van, and it was a culinary delight like no other. The chicken was perfectly seasoned, tender, and grilled to perfection, while the guacamole and salsa dip were heavenly accompaniments that elevated the entire experience. It may look like your average “pink” neighborhood food van, but Alchile Mexican Gourmet is anything but!I went with two friends on a Wednesday night, and was immediately greeted by the most friendly staff and incredible aroma of FRESH Mexican food.The pink van was filling up quickly (it was almost 14:00 pm) but we managed to get one of the four tables arranged outside as a couple was just leaving.We ordered tacos “al pastor”... they where recommended by the staff, then ribeye steak tacos and the vegetarian option, tacos believe it or not, made from cactus plants....The tortillas as fresh as it gets, they just made all of them in front of us! They are a bluish colour full of goodness, and the fresh chilli sauce, wasn’t too spicy neither, robust but not overpowering. When we tasted “al pastor” (marinaded pork meat) tacos our expectations continued to be exceeded.The vegetarian cactus taco was crisp, flavourful, along with lovely feta cheese, The toppings worked together beautifully. The ribeye steak tacos were packed with flavour, tender and very little fat. By the end of our Mexican-taco-gourmet-journey we were planning our next visit.

A great tasty meal especially if you happen to be waiting on for your train. The quesdilla was very good, and I like the fact that your add extra toppings inside to enhance the flavour

Heath was an awesome person to run this place. I had chicken street tacos. The shells were homemade and I was warned in advance that they would take 10 minutes to cook. Meanwhile, Heath was happy to share, when prompted, his experience of Cambridge.

Great spot to grab a bit of Mexican food near the train station. Given that it is England, the food is not super authentic, but it is nonetheless very tasty, with a wide variety of offerings, and well-prepared fillings.The service is fast and friendly, so it is perfect for grabbing a bite if you have a bit of time to wait. I recommend checking this place out if you want to have Mexican in Cambridge! I ordered extra meat, and the burrito was generously filled accordingly.

Amazing food, and even better staff!Chris was so wonderful and accommodating! We will definitely be back! Would honestly recommend all the dishes we've tried (tacos and quessadillas)

Heath was awesome! I had a Al Pastor burrito and it was extremely tasty. Excellent choices of sauces. Heath even told us a bit about Cambridge and offered advice on some things to do, very helpful.

Tried 3 different tacos and the burrito. All were absolutely delicious. The blue corn tortillas were perfection. There’s a lot of variety for sauces too. I had their spiciest sauce, and it was just right. Heath is the chillest dude too. He was so easy to talk to and made me feel welcome right away. I will definitely be back for more!
