Dee Valley Breaks

Loved ever minute of our stay at the beginning on October. Absolutely stunning place, we loved it that much we’re already thinking planning our next stay at Valley View lodge!

Amazing chilled place with everything you need...we totally switched off and relaxed for 3 days. The views are stunning, we were able to walk from the lodge to a nice local pub for lunch. The hot tub is just sublime. If you are considering booking dont hesitate....its perfect ❤

Wow! What an amazing place to get away from it all! We stayed here for our anniversary and it was perfect. As you arrive you can see how secluded and romantic this place is, and the view is incredible from the hot tub. The inside compliments how stunning the outside is with a beautiful kitchen/living area with ceiling to floor windows looking out at the far reaching views into the dee valley. All of the appliances, bedding and little details have been thought out with such care. I particularly liked the welsh toiletries (have since purchased my own!) and the welcome message on the table with a bottle of bubbly waiting. The owners were fantastic answering any queries but also just left us to it! This place is truelly a little hidden gem in the dee valley, we look forward to returning in the future!

My wife and I stayed here on our anniversary and it was absolutely magnificent. It was the perfect getaway without the kids! The lodge was spotlessly clean, well furnished with everything we required for our stay, and the hot tub... well that was sublime, sipping champagne whilst soaking in the stunning views was so relaxing. We left feeling refreshed and truly grateful that we had the privilege to stay in this wonderful location. Would highly recommend.

Literally the best place I have ever stayed! Been all over the world but this beats everything..The view looks like a painting! Would recommend to absolutely anyone. Cannot wait to come back

Had the most relaxing weekend at Dee Valley Breaks. Can’t have asked for a better break. The lodge is absolutely beautiful and is surrounded by an amazing view. Kitchen is really well kitted. Hot tub was absolutely spot on too. We can’t wait to return, thank you.

We spent a really relaxing weekend at Dee Valley Lodge. Obviously the view speaks for itself but the spec of the lodge is spot on, a real home away from home. We had a lovely surprise of seeing a stream train wind through the view and even when it rained chilliing in the hot tub looking out was what the doctor ordered. We'd definitely recommend a trip on the heritage railway.I had contact with Lisa prior to, and after, booking and she was always really helpful and welcoming. We will hopefully be back one day, thank you

Absolutely amazing place - we loved it! So nice for a retreat - we stayed for 5 days but wish it could have been longer. The lodge was perfect - luxury accommodation where everything had been thought of - one of the most comfortable King sized beds we have slept in, beautiful kitchen with high end appliances, lovely seating area, beautiful bathroom with double ended bath & a powerful shower & the view over Dee valley from the decking area/ outdoor hot tub was breathtaking. Also enjoyed many local walks in the area & beautiful Llangollen- just 15 minute drive away. Enjoyed every minute & were very sad to leave - can't wait to come back again - Absolutely gem of a place, cannot recommend highly enough!

I cannot recommend this lodge enough. It is so cosy, clean and beautiful. The views from the lodge are picture perfect. Both me and my partner fell in love with this lodge, pure perfection. We hope to be back next year.
