The Siam Zaa
A lot of the dishes are authentic Thai tasting, reasonable prices, homey vibe, with Singha beer on draught. the day I went, it was a bit busy though, so the food took a while

Visited on 10 April 2023 at 7pm.I’ve been to The Siam Zaa before but it was my first time trying their Mu Kathra/Mookata offering - a barbecue and hot pot all in one. We ordered the meat platter which came with chicken, pork and beef as well as a basket of vegetables (like cabbage), glass noodles and an egg. We also ordered a portion of mamie noodles. The platter also came with the option of choosing two sauces and we went with the peanut sauce and chili sauce. The broth that was offered was a chicken broth which was very flavorful. The meat was tender and marinated well! The sauces we chose were delicious and not overly spicy. This platter would definitely be enough for two people but as we were a group of three, we added on two more portions of meat as well. There was also free refill for the broth whenever it ran low.Overall, a very good experience and would go back for their Mu Kathra!

I normally opt for traditional green and red curries, which you can never go wrong with. However, I recently tried Tom Yum noodle soup and it was simply amazing. Sufficient quantity in a large bowl along with rice noodles and stir fried vegetables. The soup is so delicious you will want to finish it to the very last drop. However, if you are a vegetarian, just as a matter of precaution for you, I want to add that the soup has a whole boiled egg. Just to give you a heads-up. You can either ask not to put it in or could take it out whole before eating. The best thing is value for money. You won't feel how much you get to eat in the price given.

Definitely won’t visit again!!! Not professional at all!!!First we waited for more than 1 hour cooking without any compensation (they said they face inspection)Second, the fish price is £16.95 on the menu, but they charged us without asking and noticing for size XL price 19.95We are two people dine in this time, actually that’s too much for usThird, the menu said it charge service fee for 4 or more people, but they still charge for two peopleHorrible experience, wasted me more than 2 hours

The Siam Zaa
I recently visited Siam Zaa in Newcastle and had an amazing experience! The restaurant is conveniently located near the train station and right in the heart of the city, making it an ideal spot for a quick lunch or a relaxing dinner. The Thai food here is exceptional - the Tom Yam soup is spicy and flavorful just like in Thailand, and the noodles are simply amazing. The portion sizes are generous, and the prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity of food you get. The staff is friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend Siam Zaa to anyone looking for authentic Thai cuisine in Newcastle. Don't miss out on this gem of a restaurant!
