Overall, not worth it as anything that's not routine involves an unreasonable amount of work for you and others (esp. highly paid professionals) to do. Makes the process inefficient so the insurer can save a few ££.Straightforward claims (routine procedures and such) are processed quickly through app. You need to ensure some details are there (like the full practitioner info, which is reasonable to prevent fraud). But... if there's anything more involved, or something happened that has some exclusions, they'll obviously do everything possible to avoid paying (however small the value of the claim is).

Great service, easy to use app which allows claims to be uploaded in minutes and usually is paid within days. Any queries just call them and they are very helpful.

Love Medicash. So grateful that I get this benefit paid by my employer. Have used it for 9 years, have only had a handful of issues that are easily resolved by helpful, friendly call centre staff. Have just received £70 back for kids dentist which is helpful for Christmas! The doctors consultation service is fantastic, have used numerous times for myself and children. Appointments within an hour on several occasions too. Quick and easy collection of prescriptions, it just takes the faffing around out of the whole process. Could not recommend enough. Fingers crossed my employer always stays with Medicash!

I have been a member of Medicash for 30 years - initially whilst as a company employee then later as a independent member. I find my policy meets all my needs especially for dental and optician claims, thankfully not really had to use other cover but will in future if needed. I also find the move from paper based to using the Medicash app very positive as very easy to use and receive payment into my account incredibly quickly. Communication is also excellent so all in all very happy with Medicash and it's service.

Have been with Medicash for quite a few years - I have no doubt that I've paid in more than I have claimed, but you never know what is around the corner! The service is always exceptional, payments made efficiently. Easy to speak to if you need but the App is fantastic and easy to use.

Been with Medicash for many, many years. Found the very fair minded and any claims have been dealt with efficiently. As another reviewer has stated, it does sometimes does take a few attempts for the app to accept all the relevant information on the receipt photograph (iphone), but overall a very easy to use facility. Would recommend.

Have been a dual Medicash (and former Penny in the Pound") member for over 60 years - yes 60 years- and have always had great service from everyone there. The new iPhone-based claims app works a treat and settlement is prompt and accurate. Occasionally I have gone over my annual limit due to expensive optician costs

Been in for years and benefits are getting less each year. App needs sorting as won't accept information and can't see pictures of receipts very well. Also not happy that claim time has been reduced to 6 months instead of 12.Surely by now should be linked to payment systems at dentists or opticians etc so automatic payments can be applied for. Such a faff trying to claim.
