I travel from chester le street to have my hair cut here. Just a comfortable experience and friendly people.

My favourite place to get a haircut, always how I want it however sometimes the wait can be quite long as there is often only one barber in and multiple customers.

Lovely lil barbers in a lovely little city. The lady who cut my hair was exceptionally friendly

Great barbers and amazing prices. Asked for a low taper with weight in the back and room in the front to style as curtains or as a fringe and they hit the nail on the head and didn’t bring the sides too high (which a lot of other barbers do). Came back a month later asking for the exact same and they did it perfectly.

Don’t deserve any stars never mind 1. My poor boyfriend got his haircut here by a blonde lady who absolutely butchered him. Clearly can’t cut mullets as he left looking like he’d done 6 years in the Australian outback.

My husband only goes here for his haircuts, as other barber shops cannot manage his insanely thick hair. Anna is wonderful, and always does an amazing job on his hair, and he always comes out looking fantastic. The other ladies are nice as well, and always make us feel welcome. Can't reccomend it enough

The ladies are lovely and really friendly. Listen to what you ask for and take time with the haircut. Also, great for the price (after your first cut they give you a loyalty card which gives you a pound off next time).

I’ve been going for about 7 months now since moving to the Durham area and I have to say that it’s the best barbers in the area with great chat and understanding of my hair and my style

Me and my partner visited chaps barber's about a month ago, the staff didn't seem very friendly. They glare/stare at you if your a new customer and they honestly looked very snobby. They listened in on my partners and his friends conversation and then kept passing horrible looks to one another. The woman did an awful job on my partners hair aswell, she completely ruined it. The shop itself is small, 3 areas for customers to be seen. Lack of co operation, prices are okay but not good enough as they clearly don't know what they're doing regards to the state they left my partners hair in. Would never ever go back to this barber's again and I would not recommend.
