Dogs Paws and Cats Whiskers

Have left my Samoyed with Bev and the team a few times and he always has a great time. Just back from our longest break away nearly 16 days and left Him and my new cockapoo. Always very pleased with the service and the dogs always have a fantastic time with lots of play. Would Deffo recommend.

First time we brought our dogs to stay! The booking in and welcome was lovely pet centred focus - making sure they knew enough about our dogs. We left our two there one Friday morning and they went off with the lovely blonde lady who checked them in without as much as a backward glance… when we collected, they seemed much more chilled that previous kennel stays and less sulky ( that look that says you left me, not sure if I love you/ you love me!) really felt we’d found a gem…. We will be back ( although this holiday we took them with us)

Our 13 year old Springer has just had a 10 night stay and has clearly been very well looked after. We collected him this morning & he was going back to Bev for strokes even though we were there which speaks volumes for the care he’s received. Highly recommend and will happily use again for Alfie

We contacted Bev about a puppy she had for sale after seeing her advert online and reading the reviews on here. We got a beautiful little black boy, he has obviously been well loved and is just a bundle of joy. We saw his mother and half sister aswell as a couple of other dogs and puppies, they were all in brilliant condition and super friendly. I have a disabled child and a dog nervous child, when visiting Bev took this into consideration and was brilliant with the children. When talking about the dogs she comes alive, you can hear and see the passion she has for everything she does when she speaks. We were sent away with vets records and KC registration alongside his genealogy certificate, some food and a lovely bit of fleece for comfort bedding. Also importantly she had some fab ideas and help for intiating training to settle in to his new home with the type of children I have. We put them straight into place and (touch wood) no accidents or mishaps yet and my older boy is far less nervous already. She also makes it very clear that should you require any future help contact her straight away and she will help you. I read some quite cruel things people had put, but like everything I wanted to trust my own judgement and I am glad I did. Bev is lovely and sincere, having spoken and met more than once I can happily attest that she is a lovely person and in my experience nothing like she has been portrayed by some. So if that is putting you off I urge you to do the same and trust your own judgement.Picture of Khufu Seti just because he is B E A Utiful and cheeky to boot.

PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COST!!!our dog stayed at this awful place! And came back under fed! And very disheveled she’s two!!! She absolutely stunk and her bedding and toys had to be thrown away as they also had a putrid smell and her bed was wet!! We couldn’t work out why!! So we went and brought her a new bed and no sooner had we put it down she went and had a wee on it!! Something she’s never done before !! And as for the owner!!!!! Well RUDE IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT!!! I rang to collect my dog and she turned me away and said I can’t have her back till 5pm!! When we was finally able to get our dog they asked my partner to stay outside and when he asked to see where she had stayed the point blank refused!!!! We normally take our dog somewhere else and we are normally able to go collect our dog from the kennel!! So we found this odd!!!They also was funny over payment! Asking for bacs payment!! And said sharply next time it’s bacs payment!!! NEXT TIME!!! NEVER EVER WILL I BRING MY DOG BACK YO YOU !! You need closing down!!!

We recently purchased our labrador puppy from Dog's paws. She's the loveliest puppy with the best temperament and so confident, healthy and playful. Real testament to her lovely natured mother and to the care she's received. Both Bev and her son were so helpful and not at all pushy when we went to view. They are clearly very knowledgeable people and when when we collected our pup, everything was well organised and just as it should be. I would highly recommend buying a pup from Bev. She's obviously very trustworthy and did everything she said she would do. Thank you.

We boarded our 3 kittens here and we will definitely be sending our kittens (and puppy) to holiday here next time we go away. This was the first time we went away without our pets so we were very nervous to do so however Bev and the team put us a ease. You can tell that everyone there are animal lovers. Our kittens shared a family unit enclosure so they could stay together. We brought beds and toys for them but didn't unpack them as their enclosure had plenty in already. One of our kittens lost their collar and they posted it back to us without a problem. 5/5 - we will definitely be using again, thank you Bev and team!

We have used Dogs paws and cats whiskers for our dog Boris for the last 2 years and the 8 yrs previous for our first dog. Professional, friendly, all of the staff are so good and Boris loves going there. He is a rescue and we weren’t sure how he would be but never had a problem We wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Just picked up our 3 dogs who stayed for a week, first time leaving them and so was very stressed and rang about a thousand kennels. The friendly staff took all the stress away, simple forms to fill, simple instructions, really easy access, staff always available, great feedback on how they were for the week!!Will definitely use them again!!

While you look forward to going on a family holiday, one of the drawbacks if you have a pet is having to leave them in someone else’s care. I had a negative experience last time I left my cat in a Cattery so I felt nervous about leaving my cat at Cat’s Whiskers Cattery recently…I shouldn’t have worried! My cat was looked after and cared for and was content and well when I collected him. A visit to the Cattery prior to booking my cat in reassured me that the facilities are clean and that my cat would be happy to stay there. The Cattery is well-established and is evidently well managed.I would highly recommend the Cattery based on my experience and will be using it in future.
