We came here for my sisters birthday and it was a brilliant meal. The venue is beautiful and has a great atmosphere. All of the staff we spoke with were lovely from the door host and servers to the bar staff. Our servers Anne and Grace were amazing and able to answer any questions we had and gave great knowledge of the menu and drinks. We had plenty of time to enjoy our food and we're not pestered every few minutes but we taken care of very well with check backs and drink orders being taken frequently enough to cause no issues for the great service we received.I honestly am looking forward to going back to try some of the other items on the menu as the ribs were supper succulent and the bones just fell off with no resistance and the pie was amazing with a beautiful creamy sauce with a hint of tarragon and the actual pie casing was just as nice and sweet.

I came here for a roast last Sunday and it was amazing - nice big portions, juicy and flavoursome beef/pork/turkey etc and lots of choices for veg and extras that you can help yourself to.What struck me the most though was how lovey and friendly every single member of staff was - there must have been around 15+ about the place including behind the bar and each of them was all smiles, chatting with customers and just overall really kind and helpful. I’ll definitely be coming back here for another roast!(Also the BEST sticky toffee pudding I’ve ever had, seriously)

We hired the conservatory area for a wedding party, and we are so glad we did. The team was fantastic and went above and beyond in everything. Nothing was a bother for them, and they honestly made our evening so stress free. We opted for the hot buffet, which included pulled pork rolls, wings, ribs, ect, which went down a treat. All our guests commented on how great the food is. The space is great, and we had a good-sized dance floor and enough space for people to sit down. The outside area was great for photos, and the fairy lights came out fantastically in our photos.Thank you for everything!

I visited The Horseshoe today for Christmas lunch with 39 other ladies from the Warlingham W.I. The food was delicious, as usual and the roast potatoes were superb! The serving staff were fantastic, not an easy task with 40 of us at the same sitting. I have booked lunch for Christmas Day itself and I am sure the same high standards will be met.Please pass on my thanks to all, chefs, bar staff, serving team.See you on Christmas Day

Had such a good time, great atmosphere and good food! Service was really friendly. Portion size was massive and I thought I was back in America. Not too expensive either. Cocktails and cocktails are available.

Another good family celebration meal at this pub. We went with the Sunday roast option, and there were plenty of different meats on offer, plus a good range of vegetables and trimmings. They were really busy, so the service was a bit slow sometimes, but they can be forgiven for that.

This is one of my friends and I favourite spots in town to get food. Been here many times and never have been let down with quality food. The steaks are stupidly flavoursome and always the best!Make sure if you’re looking for a decent meal to come here. You will not be disappointed.

My family went to a Christmas dinner here last week. My expectation levels are generally very low for such events; the staff are usually overwhelmed by the numbers, and the food is generally low quality and often arrives cold.Not so at the Horseshoe. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring everybody's allergy requirements were met, and being ever willing to go the extra mile. The food was hot, well presented and tasty. The menu choice on the set menu was varied and frankly hard to choose from; there were so many tempting options, including gluten-free and vegan ones.This was our first visit, but we intend to return in the New Year.
