No idea how the reviews are so stellar, as our experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. Engaged with these guys in April 2021 to restore our old door, not only did it take a whole lot of chasing, 7 months, 3 paint jobs , us having to touch up our fresh hallway paint due to splashes, and multiple broken promises - i.e they would return to fix the terrible paint job, broken keyhole etc. Ahmed now ignores my messages and has not returned as he promised in October 2021 to fix the problems with our door which we paid 2K for. The door now has cracks and peeling paint. Avoid at all costs for door restoration!

Initially it looked amazing, with good attention to detail and quality of work. Unfortunately it didn’t last a year. Cracks opened up and the finish bubbled and now it looks like it needs redoing, even though they touched it up once in the interim. For the price paid I would’ve hoped it would last longer.

The team at Dulwich Reclamation have been excellent and we are so happy with our beautiful new door. Personal service is something that's hard to find these days and Ahmed and his team are very knowledgeable and passionate about the job they do. Ahmed advised us on all of the parts needed for fitting and they took care of restoring our chosen door and building a new door frame. Andre who fitted the door was clearly very skilled and also a really nice guy!As to be expected of a reclaimed wooden door, after 5 months there were a few cracks showing on the paintwork around the edges of the door after all of the hot weather. Ahmed and Andre popped back yesterday to sand and touch them up free of charge and now it looks brand new again. Such great service!

Highly recommend a look if you’re after a door or some reclaimed timber. Very knowledgeable team who do a great job helping you find the right bits and pieces. They’ll even cut to measure and tidy it all up for you. Fair pricing.

Amazing service from Ahmed and team! I came for reclaimed floorboards but couldn't find exactly the right ones on the first visit. They had the right ones in stock though (I think in another warehouse) and got them ready for me by Tuesday morning, exactly as promised. The price is reasonable and they also delivered the boards the same day! Really great stuff, highly recommend.

When we thought we wouldn't find the right size of reclaimed Victorian floorboards for our floor repairs anywhere, Dulwich Reclamation helped us. Friendly and compenent staff with attention to detail, and home delivery - they provide an exceptional customer service. I cannot thank them enough!!!

I contact Dulwich Reclamation after seeing an amazing door they'd custom made for a client.From our initial messages through to a site visit I was impressed with Ahmed's knowledge and enthusiasm for our project. He then kept me up to do on lead times and regular photos throughout the manufacturing process.Sharif's craftsmanship on the door is really impressive. Made from scratch with great details it really stands out. Andre then did a fantastic job fitting the door and restoring the frame.Couldn't be more pleased with the finish results, thanks so much!

Just want to say how pleased I am with the reclaimed scaffolding boards I just got from you. Your fellow (sorry can’t remember his name) stripped and sanded them down beautifully. They will look brilliant as shelves in my son’s room. Thanks again and will definitely come to you again.
