Car Park East Grinstead Station | APCOA

Tucked down residential roads, once located then since extension there are more spaces, but expenses (as always with train station parking). Narrow foot bridge and steos then to get to the station. Can get full on busy days.

The payment option is by app only. Not a great signal area to took a while to install. We only needed 3 hours but had to pay for a whole day £6.10. The whole process of completing the registration for the app etc was very stressful, and I use parking apps regularly. The other car park to the front of the station is for up to 20 mins only. Signage is very poor. A grumpy ticket office attendant informed me of the limited times. I hope to never need to park here again.

Large conveniently located car parking area serving the station, with recent times added in raised upper deck area to increase car parking capacity. Situated behind the EG Station building and railway track itself. Beyond the car park nearby lies the beginning section of the old Worth Way. Being the Beeching cuts produced disused railway line going to Crawley Down, and ultimately onwards thereafter to Worth itself. Accessible to walk from here.

Sensible price and great access to the steam line Bluebell Railway

Not bad value at £5 for the whole day, but a choice between coin payment or registering with a painful automated credit card line, which charges for parking, plus admin fee and a text, and about which I am always suspicious.Also, located some way from the station when parking (up a traffic-jammed road, then around several corners down residential streets), with very poor signage to get there. Set your satnav for East Grinstead Station Carpark, not the station itself to avoid confusion! Getting back to the station is thankfully a shorter walk over a footbridge but again, very badly signposted. I needed to ask a passerby!Not recommended if you're not local or are in a rush. Otherwise a decent place to park for the day.

No trains and need a bus replacement service? Never mind, GOVIA have put up the car parking prices by over 8% to give you something else to be annoyed about.

I use the station quite infrequently- infact the last time it was run by a different company; a different app. No other way to pay apart from the app - you need a smart phone, you need a signal, you need time to download an app , register an account, give all your bank details, set up your car details. I will probably uninstall this app as it will be different the next time I park and who ever heard of this 1 star company?

Fined for a simple mistake. No understanding. Indigo were a better company to deal with in every respect.Saba seems to be just one more of the greed driven companies out there.

I went on website to find prices for this carpark. The prices were quite clear, and said the machine excepted all cards and cash.On arrival there was no machine even though sign said have you paid and displayed.I had to scan a QR code and pay on line.I think this could be difficult for elderly people who not have a smartphone.

Don't use the app to pay! It has trouble storing your bank card details. After a few attempts my bank blocked my card due to suspected fraudulent use! User the machine instead, much safer and less hassle.
