very well equipped, lots of space, a good mix of age groups/abilities using the gym, excellent changing/shower/ sauna facilities, plenty of parking . Having been a member of a couple of other local gyms, I can honestly say my whole gym experience/enjoyment has been enhanced by joining winners. It is a shame that some of the exercise bikes, and treadmills are visabley past their commercial life span.

I have been a member at Winners for about 3 years. I have only ever been to the Kingsteignton gym as the Torquay and Paignton sites are a bit too far for me. The place is pretty big for an independent gym and well equipped, especially regarding free weights and resistance machines. It is easy to find all the equipment you need for a decent workout and there is plenty to go around so you won't have to wait too long. The downside is that the gym is past its best. In particular, the cable machines are often broken and there seems no appetite to buy a new one. The accessories for the cables as well quite often have lost their plastic grips and are down to the metal - it doesn't stop it working, but you would think £30 for a new handle wouldn't be a big stretch. Overall, the gym is great value for money, convenient with easy parking and access to the dual carriageway . . . . it does just feel a bit like the owners have lost interest and passion for the business and this is reflected in ageing gear - I am not talking about asking them to spend a load of money. A new cable machine, some new accessories would make a world of difference.

I love it here, any time access, and a huge range of all the best equipment, I would highly recommend this gym

Joined recently. Mainly for the yoga classes run by Zoe. Good car park , opened 24 hours, showers available. I tried some weekend classes which are quite challenging. I would join more classes, but they are either too early (6.30 in the morning) or in the early evening which is not suitable for me.There was no induction, so getting to know equipment as I go. Staff seems friendly. I like the cafe in the gym which has quite diverse menu and reasonable prices. My favaourite is vegetable omellette.

Fantastic gym, really friendly and well equipped. The staff even helped me jump start my car when I had a flat battery. Wish I lived closer but will definitely be back when I'm down this way again!

Always very friendly and helpful staff, the food is good is also down to earth tasty reasonably priced all in all it's a really popular place to go for lunch or even just a lovely coffee

Very reasonable prices and food of good quality. Can be busy as very popular. All on the ground floor. Will be back to try the lunchtime specials. Would be lovely to sit outside in the summer. Free parking.

A paid a visit to this gym with a friend on his recommendation and it lived up to it. It’s big with plenty of equipment to use.The deadlift platforms are good (of course I would like to see iron comp plates over bumpers, but fully understand that it is an all rounder facility). Impressive facility for bodybuilding. Friendly staff, but I’ve not tried the cafe.

Very friendly staff and excellent food plus free parking, we recommend the cottage pie a special on Thursdays

Not sure about the gym equipment, but I can say the loud music coming from the place on a Saturday morning is ridiculous ! If I wanted a rave, I would get myself on a plane to Ibiza or somewhere similar, rather than being forced to listen to it from the comfort of my own garden !How you're allowed to get away with this is beyond belief, for Christ's sake, turn it down !!!!!
