We can’t recommend Colwills enough. They dealt extremely professionally and with great care when dealing with the sale of our home this year. Gareth’s professionalism and experience throughout the negotiation process was second to none and Gail went above and beyond making sure we completed when we needed to. We have used other agents in the past but this was by far our best experience of a friendly, professional team.

Absolutely disgusting company, rude and inappropriate staff. In particular a keyboard warrior called Caroline. Complaints raised and clearly not bothered as Rob Colwill shows a clear bias and is not interested at all in customers also very rude. A thorough investigation takes more than a couple of days. Have took my complaint for independent review and have contacted the property ombudsman. Stay clear of this so called lettings agentThey lose emails sent to you, and they vanish magically from the audit trail. Luckily I have keep my own trail and have the evidence and photos of the state of the property when we moved in! We had to pay to throw out furniture because they were too lazy to get cleaners in before we moved in.And it's clear to see the Vendetta rob holds against me for calling the company out as notice no reviews have a reply apart from this one!

We were living in the West Midlands and looking to move to the Bude area to be near family. Colwills had several properties that met our criteria. It's a 3 and 1/2 hour drive but Colwills were very good in arranging viewings to accommodate us including later when we needed to measure up for curtains etc pending purchase completion. We must record our appreciation of the fantastic service we received from Colwills on the recent sale of a family property. We initially met 3 local agents. Rob's valuation on the property was spot on. Of the others, one was way too high and the other too low. Rob was firm in resisting our higher expectations and was proved to be right with a sale price being acheived just above his figure.We were selling from 150 miles away and had to rely on the Colwills team to attend all viewings and handle the sale process. Gareth and Ben kept us fully advised on progress. We had a false start when the first buyer pulled out but they reassured us that we would get a sale and the eventual purchaser was soon on board.As the sale progressed, Gail became involved. She offers the invaluable service of being able to talk to both parties and their legal teams to monitor progress. This was invaluable and kept us fully informed.If Colwills operated in our area we would have no hesitation in using them and recommending them to all our family and friends. They are simply excellent.

Contrary to Mr Sean Watson's review of Colwills I would like to respond. I appointed Colwills as my letting agent and have had perfect service from them. That's more than I can say of Mr Watson and his partner Amy Stephens who were my last tenants,against whom, I eventually got a possession order from Barnstaple Court. They ignored the Section 21 notice to vacate which meant I had to apply to the court for the possession order. There was damage to the property as a result of a leak (not the fault of the tenants) which Colwills did their utmost to remedy. However, the tenants ignored requests to access the property so that a repair could be effected. Colwills had to chase them every month for the rent on my property, leaving e mails and phone messages which they seldom responded to. The aforementioned tenants left with a large sum of rent arrears which I believe they've offered to repay at 5GBP/month. Colwills provide a 5 star service.

I cannot recommend Colwills enough! They made our entire house purchase process a joy. Ben and Gail went above and beyond and made every step of the way a breeze. We were away on holiday on the other side of the world as the purchase was going through they kept everything moving along smoothly - we couldn't have asked for more! We wouldn't hesitate to use them should we wish to sell our house in the future.
