Halfords Autocentre Peterborough (Padholme Rd)

Started the conversation with the old chestnut, we're short staffed today! Supposedly once looked at was told they would relook and refresh what the issues were, what's that all about 20 minutes later! Can't wait for an electric car will cut most of this rubbish and out!

I only go here when I need a product I haven’t got time to order elsewhere online. When I went to pay I was met with a miserable face. £12 and given my receipt. I thought manners would be part of the training? Luckily I can change my own light bulbs and window wipers, which saves me paying loads for them to do it.

Not happy! No remorse, no apology, one of the guys even said my car was cursed. How rude! They talk & laugh in the back office while taking forever to attend to client. I had to take car to another garage to right a wrong they had caused after several trips to them with same issue. Very inconvenienced. Only reimbursed what I paid at other garage (only after going through customer service & complaining) but no compensation for all the trouble caused. Taking my case further! Don’t let them get away with ripping you off. I regret ever taking it to Halfords & especially this particular branch. Terribly Annoyed!

The worst garage ever. I went to change my tyres and they lost my spigot ring from one of the tyres and from there is a long story. I had to pay another people to fix it I could have a accident in any moment. Not safe they have no experience not professional staff

Service in August 2022 - advised my brake pads needed doing but still had time in them, when this time was nearly up, took car in for pads then received a call I needed discs also.One of two things happened: I was advised at my service incorrectly, or my discs did not genuinely need doing, they just wanted my money. The manager told me not to bother complaining as nothing would happen as it’d go back to him, and he wasn’t going to do anything about it.Do not use this site unless you want to be misinformed or scammed. It has taken 7 months from me paying under protest out of desperation for a car with brakes, to finally come to a conclusion (a refund). Still no genuine apology, and if I’m honest it was no longer about the money, it was about addressing the unacceptable conduct.

I arrived at 9am for a service. Told it would be 3-4 hours. Arrived back 4 hours later. Hadn't even started the work. Good to see 3 people in the office sitting playing on their phones. Told them please don't worry about..and took the car.Will never ever go back.A waste of an entire day.Wasn't allowed to give Zero Star. So ignore the star ⭐ I had to post this feedback

I would put 0 stars if I could. Absolutely awful garage, avoid at all costs. Went for an MOT, they told me car failed on emissions and that is was a serious fault with my make and model. They even suggested that there was a lawsuit ongoing with Ford! Went home and did my research, not a single web post or article about this issue anywhere. The only thing I could find (ironically) was a post about how a Halford's MOT had failed due to emissions and it was a false failure! I then took it to the manufacturer dealership where I purchased the car from and they ran their usual tests. Not a single issue at all, and there isn't a known" fault or anything of the sort. I'm in the process of getting a refund and have been given 2 wrong numbers

Trust Jason & his team implicitly, air con had stopped working in one of our work trucks & without hesitation took it to Halfords Autocentre, which wasn’t that easy as they’d relocated since I last used them, but undeterred I phoned another branch & found out their new location, 1st class service, excellent turnaround, even had the car in afterwards for new tyres, highly recommend these guys

Prices where competitive, but had to wait 1h 20m for my tyres to be changes even with a 9.30am appointment. Also found they had lost one of my locking wheel nuts and didn't tell me and only found out when I took my car in for an MOT a few days later. When I returned and told them, they checked the photos they take when they complete a tyre replacement only to find, out of the 2 tyres I had replaced, the wheel in question had no photo.They did offer as a 'good will gesture' to cover the cost of a replacement but I just got them to find a spare wheel nut that fits and put that in. I had enough of all the waiting and going backwards and forwards.I only expected to have my tyres changed in a reasonable time with no issues but you don't always get what you want I suppose.
