This review is WAYYYYYY overdue. My husband and I got married 2 1/2 years ago now, BUT it still weighs on my conscience that I haven't submitted a review for Martin. He was absolutely wonderful to work with! He made my husband and myself feel so comfortable even though we aren't great at taking pictures, and all of the photos were so beautiful! He was so prepared to answer all of our questions and work with us to create the best timings of things. I would recommend Martin to anyone and everyone looking for a wedding photographer!!!

Wed in March 2023.Martin was exactly what we were after from a wedding photographer - informal yet professional, VERY subtle, well organised, flexible, communicative, conscientious, and delivered beautiful images. We felt in very safe hands right from the first meeting to the delivery of the photos.The images themselves were excellent; Martin managed to catch every key moment and his photos really take us back to each of those.We are super grateful for his work and very pleased we chose to go ahead with him as our wedding photographer.

Martin is such a great wedding photographer. He was a wonderful presence at our wedding - calm and reassuring, but also directive when he needed to be and with a good appreciation for the fun of it! And he produced wonderful candid photos and turned them round incredibly quickly for us! I'd recommend him to anyone!

We feel so lucky that we found Martin! As soon as we saw his incredible portfolio on his website, we knew that we wanted him to photograph our wedding. Even with such high expectations, Martin has blown us away - we love the photos even more than we imagined, and every time we look at them (which is A LOT) we are so happy.Martin’s style of photography tells the story of the day, as it happened, in beautiful imagery. He has given us nearly 500 photographs, and every single one of them is wonderful. He clearly cares a lot about the quality of this work, because not a single photograph fell below his high standards. We feel so proud when we show our photos and the comments people have given us are an absolute tribute to Martin’s work.Not only is he so incredibly talented, Martin was also a welcome presence on our wedding day, he is such a nice guy! Although we barely noticed he was there most of the time, we really don’t know how he managed to take all those photos, capturing such personal moments, and still maintain such a low profile!I could go on for much longer saying all kinds of wonderful things, because we couldn’t really be happier with our photos or Martin himself. Martin is the most wonderful photographer. We were absolutely over the moon when we managed to secure him for our wedding date back in 2016. It was even more special that 5 years later, he has just photographed our daughters Christening Day last weekend. We fell in love with Martin's photography style of being able to capture those truly happy and natural moments, and he's SO great to have around for your special day. If you want to feel comfortable and relaxed with your photographer taking photos for your big day - then Martin is your guy! He's reliable, friendly, professional and incredibly talented. Me and and my wife Abby came across Martin's work while trawling the internet for our wedding photographer. Very quickly we realised Martin was the perfect choice with his portfolio of beautifully captured natural wedding photos. Working with Martin was so painless and everything went smoothly from the very first informal chat, right through to receiving our final photos. The photos are everything we hoped for and more! It has been an absolute joy sharing them with friends and family, everybody has been blown away by the quaity, originality and by Martin's ability to capture the most intimate moments without drawing any attention to himself, he really is ninja like. By the end of the evening on the day of our wedding (Martin had already stayed beyond the planned time) we went to the bar to have a drink and to toast to what had been a fantastic day, although it didn't last very long! I was dragged away by a friend to dance to some 80's pop, Martin was there in a flash (excuse the pun), pulling out the camera which he'd put away, ready to capture the shot, a perfect example of Martin's dedication and tireless work to capture those special moments. We would like to comment too on the final product as we were very impressed with the photos and attention to detail. Initially Martin shared with us a handful of photos soon after our wedding day, this was great as it gave us some photos to enjoy and share without having to wait weeks for all of the final photos. Quite quickly after, considering the peak wedding season, our final photos were available on Martins website in a private passpword protected area. This was fantastic as it enabled us to share photos online with those family members not on Facebook and other social media platforms and allowed them to download the photos of their choosing. Finally we receieved all images on USB, presented in a lovely wooden box, etched with our names on the front. The USB itself is wooden and etched with our names too. We were really impressed by the attention to detail. We really cannot thank Martin enough. He did such an amazing job!Thank you MartinAbby and Liam O'Looney
