Been going here for a few years - past few months the person on the weighbridge has a very unpleasant attitude and theres been a staff change .The last visit the van was weighed with me out van with metal in it ,as per norm, and then weighed with me in van on return at this persons request with the excuse it was weighed with me in van on 1st weight, which wasnt the case .I was told to take my scrap back if i wasnt happy . Customer service at its best and ive no idea how this person has this job plus i wasnt offered a receipt with the 2 weights.

Just handed in my Golf for scrap. Can’t help but think I was ripped off, I was given £46.40 for my vw Golf. Yet five years ago I got £130 for a saxo. Customer service was unwelcoming too, wasn’t show weights break down in price rates and wasn’t given a receipt! If you don’t go to scrap yards often do NOT use this place, they will take advantage of you. I would have went else where but legally I could not drive the car after taking to the yard as my insurance ran out. We loved our car and my girlfriend was in tears after I told her what we got for the car. Very unfortunate experience!

Just scrapped my beloved Hyundai Coupe. The Gentleman who came to pick it up was very personable and friendly. I was given a very fair price for the car, and once they picked her up then cash was in my account just after 5pm exactly as I was advised. Very nice service would highly recommend, not like the old days haha :)

Had a great experience with Daltons, Salamander Street depot. I called up yesterday, got a great price for an old car and it was collected today with the cash already in the bank. Would definitely use again if I ever need too.
