Absolutely fantastic job. My sorry looking dining table top has been in need of re-polishing for a long time, Alister has completely restored it back to it's former glory. Worth every penny.

Love our best of tables. They were originally a dark stained colour and did n’t match our living room. Alistair did a great job stripping off the old stain, painting and using the correct stain/varnish to bring out the real wood. They now properly match other furniture and ornaments we have in our living room

Can’t fault Alistair at all, brilliant from start to finish. I have never had an item French polished before and didn’t know what to expect , but he was brilliant and very helpful and our Dinner table looks as good as new. Can’t say thank you to Alistair enough.

Outstanding Craftsmanship and Excellent Service. I called Alistair about my dining table which was nearly 40 years old and a looking a bit sad. What we thought was rosewood veneer had seen better days. Alistair quickly responded to my request for a quote and promptly agreed to come and collect the table. When stripped back he discovered that it was in fact a walnut finish. It has now been fully restored to a fantastic finish. My wife and I were absolutely delighted with the quality and professionalism provided and recommend Alistair without reservation

Alistair has done fantastic work for me in the past, from highly intricate veneer repairs to full traditional french polishing. He brings the depth and beauty out of any wood type, and produces the best finishes I have ever experienced in my trade.
