We had food delivered last night, special chow main, young chow fried rice and prawn crackers. It was a absolutely gorgeous, really clean and fresh. Large portions ,we have enough for lunch today! Would definitely recommend. Pleasant staff and fast delivery. Thank you

Deteriorated considerably over the past couple of months, inconsistent quality of food. Some days good, others bad. Girl behind counter most rude and unhelpful, too keen to get order and take the money. Would definitely not use again because of quality of food, awful service and attitude of counter staff. Not alone in our views of this take away. Lots of other people going elsewhere.

This place gets worse. The only Chinese for miles around so the have it all their own way, free to dish up another luke warm pile of bland food.

Yeung Chofu fried rice ( chicken, pork, shrimp, )Zero shrimp , very little chicken, little pork, very disappointing for the price. Soggy prawn crackers, other dishes ok, but not great, location in village but will drive to Uttoxeter for way better food

The best Chinese food you could wish for, the food is tasty and lots of it, the delivery staff, so polite and efficient, you cannot beat this place for food and service

Gone to the dogs!It was never amazing, but it was ok, near and convenient.The last few dinners we’ve had have missed the mark. The last was purchased Friday 24th of March. My wife was served by a lady who then went into the back to cook our order. We ordered Singapore vermicelli, spring rolls, salt and pepper chicken wings and crispy shredded beef. The spring rolls and chicken wings were ok, the rest was awful. Nothing crispy about the crispy shredded beef and we’ve never had that in a watery sauce before! The Singapore vermicelli was anything but Singapore vermicelli, more like spaghetti in spicy tomato soup.I shall be travelling to Littleworth in future. I’m done with Hixon.

Have tried a few times, and sadly disappointed, chips are definitely reheated, prawn crackers are very thin with no hint of prawn, and the beef curry was 70% onions a handful of peas and the beef had no colour or taste, this was my last visit as i thought maybe one meal would be worth the money, now I can see why the service is fast

Hixon Chinese Takeaway
Ordered a chicken curry with chips and some large pancake rolls. Ordered by phone and it's was ready within 10 mins. Very tasty too. Overall a good chinese for food.
