Amazing service! We got 4 or 5 quotes and DS removals were the best value by far, moving us from Glasgow to Reading so a huge distance move. Great communication doing a home visit and answering all of my many questions. Then on the day the guys were really efficient, friendly and chatty and got all of our things down safely and making the move so much less stressful. Would definitely recommend!!

Highly recommended!! Ds removals moved my house stuff from Scotland to England safely, without any damage. I had one box which was too heavy to lift by one person and a fragile box. All came home in the same condition as I handed them. Very friendly and cooperative people.

Absolutely shocking behaviour from Douglas, he didn't finish the job, told me he had no time to go back for the rest of my stuff , the 2 guys that did the removal where friendly however I felt it was rushed and due to it being rushed my 50 TV was cracked during the move also my plastic containers all the lids where cracked too I emailed Douglas and he told me he will not be held responsible as my tv wasnt bubble wrapped enough if this was the case you should have refused to move it moving house is stressful enough I honestly can't believe I have been treated like this"

Did a great job helping us move, especially when we suddenly had considerably more to move than we thought. They rolled with the punches and took the extra stuff, really helping us out in a pinch. Understandably they raised the price to do so, but still, would recommend.

Douglas was great from start to finish - his team took care in moving our items and they were very quick and thorough. Very competitive pricing and superb correspondence.

Use this company! Moving home is always stressful. And online quotes are scary, especially when the quote is sight unseen. DS contacted me right away and visited before giving a very reasonable quote. Also very helpful advice given. So helpful. The move us still a few weeks away but DS gave me confidence. I recently had DS Removals complete a house move and am so pleased with the service I received.The boys arrived promptly, were very pleasant and professional and took very good care of my belongings. I couldn't believe how quickly they loaded and unloaded everything. Nothing was too much trouble for them. After they had left, one of the guys arrived back with an item of clothing which was found at the bottom of the clothes rail bag used to transport my clothes, which was very honest of him.I 100% would contact DS Removals for any future moves and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for excellent service at a competitive price.

Douglas overestimated the ability of his team and what could be lifted. His guys were pleasant and they did move my garage equipment, unfortunately they broke a cast iron tool which can't be repaired and offered no compensation, uncertain if any other company have the same policy. He judged all my equipment would fit into one storage container and I ended up having to rent another half unit, I believe that was due to a poorly loaded first container. The removal company I used to remove my equipment out of storage said that the kit has just been thrown in with no regard. I wouldn't use again on that basis.

DS Removals moved some furniture for us today and it all went smoothly. The price was the best quote. We would definitely recommend them to family & friends.
