Great pub and lovely food on any day. Assertive staff and very friendly. Bar girls Anna and Alisa were so lovely and very polite.

Food was OK, nothing special. Took a really long time to come out and then our children's meals were delayed 10 mins past everyone else's. Then, despite an array of ice cream flavours, had nothing left except vanilla and chocolate. Just a little disappointing given it had good ratings.

Standard British pub, with good food and decent pint. Got served at the bar by Carys who was polite and quick with service. Overall pleasant experience

I ordered the 8oz Rump steak medium rare, when It came I tried cutting into it with a steak knife and it was so tough and full of gristle that I was unable to cut through it, the part where I had managed to cut some of the way through was still raw in the middle.We sent the steak back and explained it is extremely tough and not cooked enough to be medium rare, I was expecting them to bring out a new steak but after a few minutes they brought back out the same steak just a bit more cooked on the outside.After spending a good 5 minutes trying to cut and not able to get through it I gave up and left.

Thanks Jamie and staff for fantastic service and a really warm welcome!Food was delicious and they have pint cans of 0% Guinness which has made my husband’s day!

First time we have been here. Impressive building, clean toilets etc. Staff were all lovely. Drinks & food are reasonably priced. The wife ordered Mango chilli chicken skewer I went for the Turf

A very nice place to go for something to eat the food is outstanding and very tasty my family enjoyed it and thought the staff was very friendly and nice and will be going back again
