Homebase - Glasgow Pollokshaws

This shop has been in existence for a very long time in various incarnations. Once called Texas, then Hombase proper then following a time when it could easily have closed, it survived as a scaled back and restructured Homebase.Many of the Staff are locals and have worked at the store for 30yrs plus and are the most helpful and amazingly dedicated people. The younger generation of Staff also follow this lead and you are always guaranteed a smile. We'll almost always but we all have a bad day once in a while.Anyone who has a desire to complain about this store would do well to remember that it is a trusted and valued local outlet and if it wasn't there many folks would struggle to get to B&Q or other stockists. With online ordering and click and collect, you are able to pick up pretty much whatever you need.B&Q are sometimes cheaper because of economies of scale but are always on the edge of town.I have always been very impressed by the levels of product knowledge and customer care shown by the team and I shop there whenever I need DIY goods.Great store.Great staff.Great all round experience.

I ordered for click and collect and received my order quickly. I also purchased a light shade and was served promptly.Disappointed that there is no public toilet facilities in store any longer.There are public toilets nearby in home bargains and aldi.

Homebase is a great one stop shop for all things diy and garden. I stopped there twice to stock my balcony with plants and firewood, as shown. Friendly and helpful staff.

Easy to get to didnt take long to find what I needed

I went to this store a few weeks ago and Euan was extremely helpful. I asked about US adapters and he tried his best to help and gave me lots of information. Today my brother and mother went to buy some stuff for the garden and said they wanted to right some positive feedback for a person called Euan at this store who was incredibly polite and helpful. It's safe to say both times a great and consistent service was provided by him. Thank you for making it a nice shopping experience for us :)

First time in. I was told there was some very good price cut deals on outdoor plants. Yip ,spot on. £1 a pop per plant. Very happy. But....the young fella at the checkout was the best part. Excellent service. Extremely pleasant. Thankyou and will recommend.

I bought paint from Homebase. The brand name is Crown Cloudburst colour. It was an amazing colour and my wall looks wonderful now. Everyone who is willing to go into the Grey colour scheme should try this paint and use it on their walls.

Not nearly as good as it used to be but saying that the xmas deccies were lovely but expensive

Fairly good range of plants in the garden centre. I was also looking for wallpaper but the range was very limited.

Gets worse everytime i visit. Rarely has the items you require available. Shop generally in a mess.
