Atrocious. Pre-approved for a loan on comparison site. Complied with extensive checks, passport, open banking to then be declined. Stay well clear they do not deserve your custom.

Shocking, zero customer service availability, you’ll wait 30 mins before anyone answers the phone if lucky. A withdraw request can take over 5 working days on an instant access account! Not acceptable with todays banking technology. I had to close the account.

My Experiences of talking to a robot, I have removed the financial figures, surely when you repay a loan early you pay less interest... not according to this company:Bot: Hello. TITLE: Shawbrook's lack of security caused my personal details to be stolenI have applied to one of their job openings and started an interview process that at first seemed ok. After getting to the second or third step of the interview process, it seems that my contact was stolen by a scam artist who pretended to be working for them. They had requested some private details for the application process to progress, giving the reason that it's a security measure since they are a bank. The whole process lasted around 3 months in which Shawbrook didn't realize someone was using their domain to pretend they were working there. Who knows how many of their customers had their information stolen as well? I had to proactively reach out for over 2 months for Shawbrook to discover this issue with their security. How can you trust your money with someone that doesn't have proper security?

Few checks when you deposit money but make you jump through hoops to withdraw your own cash to the account you've been depositing from for months. Expects you to click links in an email to verify even though email is not a secure method of communication. Poor security protocols and poor service. Withdrew from another similar bank and had the cash within minutes. Go elsewhere!

Awful experience.Made me jump through hoops for 6 months and then withdraw the mortgage offer. Terrible company and hope they get what they deserve one day.

Their 'secure messaging' function is awful. Impossible to get prompt or helpful responses. Do not let you change your nominated account to Monzo as you cannot provide an IBAN (which do not exist for Monzo accounts!)When I transfer money out of my savings, they suddenly start replying.

When my bond is about to mature I asked them to transfer money into my nominated bank account,they say they have NOT got it yet they have been paying money into it for 2 years at monthly intervals.ARE THEY IN FINANCIAL TROUBLE.KEEP WELL AWAY IS MY OPINION.

Miss a single payment and they repossess your property. Put it on the market half price assuming, The local loan shark is a better deal

Got a finance agreement with them @12.2%APR over 10 years but I've worked out the monthly payments on an online finance calculator and they're actually charging me 12.905%APR which over 10 years adds up to a substantial amount of money being overpaid by meAvoid these idiots
