Active Physiotherapy - Whitefield

The treatment I received was excellent, the staff were very knowable with my symptoms/condition and provided the correct rehabilitation to help me recover.A good experience, very friendly staff and excellent surroundings.

I recently had some physio sessions for a reoccurring issue with Sciatica. Richard was great at explaining why the ailment was reoccurring and exploring different exercises to help release the tension. He also helped me understand why continuing to do the exercises whilst it wasn't causing too much of an issue was important. The pain has reduced considerably so that it now manageable and I have a better understanding of reasons why it can flare up and ongoing management of the problem.

This service was brilliant and I would have no hesitation in returning should I need to. Friendly, knowledgeable staff when making and adapting appointments and excellent physiotherapy sessions. Physiotherapist (Dan) was fantastic - treated me as partner in the process and adapted exercises and physio accordingly. As someone who has had a lot of physio in their life due to lifelong disability I felt heard and understood. The issue I presented with was taken seriously and addressed effectively and I would reccomend.

Suffering from chronic back pain for several months, I booked a course of consultations with Dan who was very helpful and understanding of my condition. Not only did he explain how and why I had developed back pain in both a practical and holistic manner, he gave good advice on how to help ease the discomfort and try to eliminate it and how to prevent it from happening in the future with specific exercises in muscle loosening and strengthening. I was surprised with the latest theory on hands off" approach

I have used Active Physio for a few years now for back and neck problems which they have always sorted with their expert knowledge and treatments. When my granddaughter broke her ankle playing football and needed surgery with a plate and screws, I knew who to turn to. As soon as she had her cast removed I took her to Active Physio for rehab treatment with Richard. He has worked his magic once again and with within a few months she has gone from being able to hardly walk and returned to playing football matches at weekend and training 3 nights a week.Without a doubt, had she not had this fantastic treatment and exercise programme from Active Physio she would still be struggling today.I cannot thank Richard enough for working with Lilly , encouraging her and giving her the confidence to get back to playing the game she loves .I have no hesitation in recommending Active Physio to anyone, the service they provide is second to none.

I have used this physio clinic for different issues over the past few years. Each time I was seen within a couple of days of requesting an initial assessment. Follow up appointments are available week by week as required. I have found the prices to be very reasonable. The clinic is situated in a convenient location with ample parking and a quiet waiting area. The receptionists are very friendly and helpful. The clinic is spotlessly clean. Physio Richard is highly knowledgable and experienced and will continue treatment for as long as it is required, so that you do not feel rushed or that the treatment is ending before you are ready. This is my go toPhysio service rather than using the NHS.

I am a golfer and had been out of action for 9 months from suffering with a wrist, hand and arm problem. The doctors thought it may be a Carpel tunnel and golfers elbow combination. There solution was to have cortisone injections. So I was put on a waiting list.I thought that there had to be a better way and started researching clinics that could offer treatment.Active Phsysiotherapy seemed to offer what I was looking for. I booked into the Whitefield clinic with Dan.I received good advice from the beginning, get some arm and wrist splints. Dan sent me a link of where to get these from.I was shown some exercises to do and had some hand manipulation of my neck. I found that wearing the splints , I could actual play golf.After a few more weeks and additional exercises my condition gradually improved. The splints were now only worn for when I was lifting heavy items. I still wear wrist supports when playing golf. I had a six week break from treatment and was very happy to have my final treatment on 30th June. I have the link to my exercise program and the knowledge that I can return at any time.Through out my time at the clinic, I have been treated with respect by Dan and the receptionist and have no hesitation in recommending there services

I had a sudden injury to my shoulder muscles and visited here and was treated by Daniel, he took time to understand the issue before treatment and after 2 weeks the issue resolved. Excellent service and very happy he could help me as it was worrying when it happened. I would 100% return if I needed to. Thank you

Went to Richard, as I had been having persistent pain in my leg, which he diagnosed as referred pain from a problem in my back. After a course of physio, I am now able to manage my symptoms and my body is much more supple. The exercises which he gave me, and which I do daily, were very helpful and I would definitely recommend Richard to anyone suffering joint or muscle pain.
