The Coach House Bar & Restaurant
Deni who served us was very friendly and helpful. The food was good. A bit expensive but good. Good selection of drinks. A nice atmosphere and sitting outside in the court yard was great. Near to the park for the kids to play.

Excellent place! Dog friendly, very polite and welcoming staff. Menu has a wide choice of pub food, with a range of vegetarian options. Lovely building and great surroundings. Very reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

We discovered this place randomly, on the road to Glasgow. We were so enchanted arriving here through a bucolic alley! The castle is really beautiful and at summertime you can eat outside in the yard. We ordered the meat puff pastry and veggies and everything was very good. Truly recommended it for a nice lunch break!

Can't comment on the food as only stopped for coffee and cake. No fresh cakes on view, only wrapped selection. We were told we would be brought over side plates to decant them from packaging. This didn't happen which resulted in a bit of a mess. My husband's coffee was also spilt all over saucer. Staff seem friendly enough but I don't think we would return. Atmosphere and premise does not entice you to sit and eat. A shame, as surrounding area beautiful.

Excellent food and extremely helpful and attentive wait staff. Could see menus, so ended up with one of the specials. Beer was also very pleasant.

Very limited menu. Worst burger we've ever eaten. Disgusting in taste. The fries tasted of old oil. The pizza is too expensive for its size. Service very slow. We waited 10 minutes to place our order, watching the waitresses chat among themselves, not paying attention to us. We won’t be back and don’t recommend it to anyone.

Staff were extremely helpful not only concerning any queries we had about the menu but also about the park itself. The large log burner was a bonus as the heat it produced was welcome on a cold day for June. Portion sizes are definately above the average and the quality of the food obvious with service being prompt. Prices are very reasonable for such a captive audience " but well worth a visit or three"

Had lunch today on a bank holiday Sunday. Nice old style surroundings. Food good and prices reasonable. Friendly helpful staff. Ample parking.
