Visited today for the first time.Several friends had told me about it.My daughter and I were very impressed and look forward to our next visit.It is a lovely find.

The food was excellent, but it turns out to be very expensive. We weren't given a bill and when we went to pay we were charged almost £30 for 2 jacket potatoes with cheese, a diet coke and a speciality hot chocolate. To add insult to injury a member of staff shouted up the road to us as we were leaving, asking if we'd paid.

Visited this tea room for lunch and was rather disappointed. Ordered decaf latte coffee but they don’t serve decaf so went with normal latte which arrived shortly after, it was sweetened and of the powdered kind consequently couldn’t drink it. Given they have numerous varieties of tea it was disappointing to have only filter coffee on offer that was drinkable. Meals of ham & cheese ploughman’s and quiche and salad arrived and of good portion size in fact some of the ham and cheese wrapped up to take home for tea!Suggest they invest in a coffee machine

The food as usual was delicious as usual. When we got home and thought about it we did wonder if we had been overcharged as we paid over £29 for 2 jacket potatoes and 2 drinks. After leaving the shop we then had a waitress call to us in the street asking if we had paid for our meals

A real find for us. Excellent food, gorgeous cakes, the best latte ever and the staff were top notch. The meals being delivered to other tables looked amazing. Definitely going back there - soon!

Extremely disappointing service.Went in, stood waiting to be served, the staff were so busy discussing the village gossip from the night before in front of Me, didn't even acknowledge myself even though they could see i was waiting. I walked out and when I was outside 1 shouted out 'you ok madame 'Definitely won't be going back to he treated in such a poor mannered way
