Producing stories that are non-stories about pointless and unnecessary things. Along with little impartiality towards current government politics even when there own council is the ones causing the most outrage. Can't get the facts right most of the time and love the incite a bit of outrage against people with opposing views.

Never answer the phones, poor use of the English language, I would guess that that use Grammarly app to proof read as most articles have glaring errors. They only report on news that other news groups have already released sometimes they don't even re-hash the article! They never report on real concerns in the Leicestershire area, they almost seem to be controlled by the local police. They never follow up on interesting stories like the illegal tobacco factory or the thefts from the container storage place!

It is what it is. If reporters can get FREE beer food or wine they will come and report on it. If you are contrary to their lefty ideology their journalistic integrity vanishes quicker than ......

Some years ago i used to be a chauffeur picking up people from the airport and every time i got back into Leicester they couldn't believe how all the different nations get on and every one is happy ,even with covid we are still ok.Anyway to my point i am a voluntary driver for the BRITISH HEART FOUNDATION IN LEICESTER CITY i have only been doing it for 6 weeks but i am enjoying it ,my job involves going round peoples homes collecting donations for the shop untill last week whilst making my delivery to the shop i returned to my car to find a parking ticket on the car telling me i am illegally parked ,it states on the notice boads that you are allowed to do delivery untill 11 am ,my ticket was issued at 10.21 i have contested this and yet the council still informs me i have to pay ,i am there every day between 09 30 till 1030 ish with no problem but the council wont budge on the matter i could pay but why i have not done anything wrong ANY SUGGESTIONS.

Can't write a story without proof reading it for spelling mistakes.

Not at all happy with the service provided. Tried to buy yesterday's special edition and managed to speak to someone, they said to ring back tomorrow to leave details for two copies to be sent to me (I thought this was reasonable). When I tried calling today I got through to the same guy and he gave me a number that didn't work before giving me another which put me on hold (my suspicion is that this number had nothing to do with Leicester Mercury). Overall I'm very disappointed with the service provided to me by this employee. The edition wasn't even for me but for someone who is not able to purchase the paper where they currently live.

This is now a building for various businesses, the outside hasn't changed.
