Rufford Park Golf & Country Club

Held a Surprise birthday party here, and it was a lovely venue with a good function room. The views are outstanding.

Clean environment,young staff. Well trained. Plenty to accommodate the bar requests. Prices reasonable. Parking - full.Food ( buffet) acceptable. Weather 'gawjus' !

Nice course, well maintained, quick greens. Great food. Having to take your clubs and trolley through the club house/pro shop is certainly different would play again and again

Played here a few times. The 1st time I played was in the middle of a heat wave and the grass was very burnt but the green keepers had still managed to keep the course is superb condition. The greens were a lovely green and someone the best I've seen in the area for condition. The course is a good challenge from hole 1 to hole 18.

Rufford Park is an extremely well thought out course. Practice facilities are excellent with a driving range and a tricky practice putting green that isn't just a flat area it has well featured slopping. Complementing these is a separate chipping green. Most clubs have memorable holes that stay with you. Rufford has 18 from a welcoming opening hole through to a potential challenging raised finishing hole with well placed bunkers. The outdoor clubhouse seating overlooks the 18 green so no pressure. With a par 5 of approaching 600 yards with out of bounds running along the right it's a tough hole. THE signature hole is the famous 17 a par 3 the elevated tee overlooks the lake protecting the the green. After your round you will enjoy the clubhouse offering good food and beverage. I live in Nottinghamshire and Rufford is in my Top 5 enjoyable courses in the county.

Played this course 3 times now each roughly around July August time of year and the greens are always immaculate and run true. Rest of the course also in great condition and the course provides a good challenge. People and staff friendly and welcoming. Always enjoyed the meals I've ate there afterwards too. 2 pints worked out just short of £10 without a member card.Good value for money

Brilliant golf course.I was very impressed by this one, from seeing the approach to the 9th as you enter the course.A steady opening par 4 follow by a double dog leg par 5 set up for a good round of golf.The fairways were perfect and the greens firm and fast, probably the best I've putted on.So many good holes here, each one offers a different challenge. The 17th par 3 is by far and away the signature hole here, teeing off from an elevated box with a green protected by water at the front. Brilliant hole.There is an abundance of wildlife to be seen here, pheasants happily wandering around, squirrels and various other types of birds here and Rufford Abbey tucked away and can be seen from various locations on the course, also where the course is located there is no other noise other than that of the birds.Definitely worth another visit.

A fantastic Golf Course for societies. Lovely people, great food and a great golf course. We have booked again for next year.

What a well maintained course with some beautiful holes! Friendly staff and great facilities all round! Driving range is very reasonably priced unlike a lot now.
