Dartline Coaches

A shocking disgrace. Extremely unreliable. I've showed up at the bus stop three times waiting for the bus which i was told by someone from Dartline Coaches called Sean that the bus timetables show accurate timing. Due to standing in the freezing cold and extreme winds waiting for a bus that never (repetitively!!!!) came my chronic illness flared up severely and i now need extra medical help.Shame on you Dartline Coaches.If this mysteriously disappears" I'll be sure to take this up further."

We hired a coach to take a group of Year 6 children to London and then bring us back 3 days later. We had an amazing driver, Adam, who was excellent and made the journey incredibly stress free. We will be very happy to book with Dartline again and I would definitely recommend the company to anyone looking to take a school group away.

Just like to say what a fantastic service you provide. We hired a 53 seater coach to transport half of our guests from the imperial hotel in exmouth to our wedding venue in Connaught gardens sidmouth on the 14-08-2021. Our guest were over the moon with your driver who negotiated roads to sidmouth with ease. His timing was perfect and our guests could praise him enough so we had a lot of happy guests. Thank you so much for being part of making our day so perfect.

We used Dartline for a raucous week-long wedding party and they were absolutely fantastic!! We made trips from London to Devon, stopping at Windsor Castle and Stonehenge, a trip to Bath, to the Eden Project and a final trip from Devon to Heathrow. Every time, the driver arrived well in advance of departure which helped calm my nerves and they were all so friendly, relaxed and accomodating.The prices were very competitive and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone who wants an easy, reliable service for a large group outing. Thank you Dartline for making my wedding week so special!

My son has been on your buses twice in the last 2 weeks. He was questioned why he wasn't wearing a mask, he replied that he was exempt. He got questioned further, both times he showed his inhaler and said again he was exempt. He got treated terribly and told to sit far away from everyone else.You are not actually supposed to question anyone why they aren't wearing a mask! You are most definitely not supposed to make them feel awful because they have a medical condition!Very unfriendly and obnoxious drivers.I would have put a 0 if I could.

I had to get the NHS Shuttle Bus from the Science Park this morning for an appointment at The Nightingale Hospital.I use a mobility scooter and I was told it would fit on the bus. I even drove out yesterday to double check.The bus from The Science Park had a lovely driver, very, helpful. My scooter went on the bus ok but it would've caused a problem if there had been any other passengers as my scooter was blocking the aisle. (This bus had blue seats).The return journey was a different matter. The bus still had a fold out ramp and James, the driver was 1st class. The design of the bus had a grab pole just where my scooter should've gone, this made it impossible to get my scooter onto the bus. James and another passenger then manhandled and lifted my scooter onto the bus but again it was blocking the aisle. When got back to The Science Park James and the passenger then manhandled & lifted my scooter off the bus. (This bus had red seats)I wish I had asked the passenger his name as without him & James I do not know how I would've got home.I hope James gets the praise he deserves as I am sure that would not be in his job description.Thank you! ☆☆☆☆☆ for service & care.

9.00 am Wednesday morning driver pulled out in front me as I cycled along past the train station in Torquay. I was wearing high visibility clothing and had front and back lights on. Blatant disregard for other road users and dangerous in the extreme. If I had not read the road " I would not be here now. I would not like to be a passenger on a bus driven by this person !! Would not even give the driver one star

If I could give a lower than 1 star I would. We were driving down a narrow lane with a large trailer on back and convoy of 3 vehicles, we met your bus near salcombe regis, on the sidmouth hopper bus service, which refused to move back into a space when they had no one behind them forcing us to detach our trailer and over a period of over 15 minutes push it 200 yards up a road and the bus driver still refused to reverse, even though she has a reversing camera. Your driver claims she cannot see out of her mirrors and cannot reverse down the lane by “company policy” and she was also very rude to one of our group leaders. If your drivers can’t see their mirrors this is a danger to the public and passengers and other road users, and also your drivers clearly aren’t of a good standard if they can’t reverse down a lane (reversing is in the PCV licence test). We have taken a picture of your registration plate and bus and we hope you can look at the CCTV on that bus (yes we noticed the cameras) and we have reported this to sidmouth council. This bus service seriously needs consideration for the benefit of people like us and near by camp sites and drivers should be suitably qualified for driving in these conditions.

Normally ok.but last Saturday completely missed the village and left people stranded and two people late for woek..

Made me 1 hour late to work as the bus just never showed up as it usually does. I was waiting at the bus stop for over an hour. Every schedule i looked up said the bus wasnt cancelled. 118 Okehampton to tavistock. Obviously their office was closed so I couldn't call them. Disgraceful.Honestly it's disgraceful how few busses there are to my area. The last bus leaves tavistock at 5:20pm and on Sundays the bus leaves every 2 hours so you better not live in mary tavy without a car...
