Child in the Wild Forest School

We had the most amazing party for my 4 year old.. Hayley was great to plan things with along the way and took on the ideas and theme I wanted, turning it into a wonderful gruffalo themed party. She was so patient and friendly and the children absolutely loved it.I'd definitely recommend for a different style of party than the usual hall hire! We chose some activities, sparklers, gruffalo hunt, den building.. and Hayley had set up the mud kitchen with 'gruffalo crumble'and 'Scrambled snake'. The children also had time for free play where everyone enjoyed their own little activities and having fun.Everything ran calming, even with having some set backs on people arriving late and timings Hayley went with the flow and just made everything work.I couldn't recommend enough!

We chose child in the wild forest school for a 7th birthday party, and it was brilliant. It was great to have everything thought of for us, and all the children who attended absolutely loved it. From mud painting to den building they had a great time. The facilities at the woods are great, such care and attention to detail has gone into the whole feel of the place. Hayley is a pleasure to work with and made the party fun for all the children. 100% recommend and will look forward to returning for a forest school session.

What a hidden gem! We went for the Halloween/yoga day and had a wonderful time. Hayley is absolutely lovely and has created a magical setting for children to explore, craft and enjoy nature. Thank you so much, Hayley, for a brilliant time.

I love taking my 3 year old & 1 year old to Hayley's sessions. She is so knowledgeable on nature and the wilderness. She makes her sessions fun, with lots of activities for all ages and the best part is that it's all child led, so anything they don't want to do, they don't have to. The environment she has created is so welcoming for everyone, parents included.Her sessions vary from under 5's, to homeschool, seasonal specials to family sessions. Wish we could come to them all!

We attended a weekend family session and we had such a brilliant morning together. The perfect mixture of led activities and free time to explore. A beautiful setting to help connect with nature together. There is all sorts of activities and facilities from mud kitchens and rope swings to a lovely fire to toast your marshmallows on. Hayley was the perfect host extremely kind and on hand. The perfect escape to the wild. We cannot wait to come back for more. Highly highly recommend. The perfect way to spend some quality time together!

Such a beautiful space and hayley is so warm and welcoming. Me and etta adore her little woodland sanctuary and it always feels like a real treat to be surrounded with such lovely people and play nature games and have lots of activities to do. We will definitely be back.

We came to Child in the Wild Forest School for a one off Halloween Special and loved it! Hayley has created an amazing child led, safe space where my daughter was able to get involved with organised activities, or play independently if she wanted. The children are able to explore safely and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed the hot chocolate & marshmallows at the end! We have already booked out next session!

I was so pleased to be introduced to forest school. It’s in the most beautiful location, Hayley who runs it is so lovely and passionate. My children (aged 2&3) enjoy themselves so much. There’s so much to do, little activities and lots to play with. The mud kitchen is one of their favourites. Wednesday morning is a day we really look forward to!!

Just been to a wonderful party at the forest school and it was so much fun, my daughter absolutely loved it! It was really well set up with lots of activities all really child led. Highly recommend!
