Pets at Home Dunfermline

Ordered and paid online for collection 3 separate occasions and twice got nothing. Won't be buying in-store or online again. I have no idea how this place turn a profit. When you consider rent/rates for all these premises that don't even stock the most basic items. You get a reference number to collect by email, when you go staff haven't a clue and then need every other detail of what was ordered - but if you're not glued to your emails you will have a wasted journey, and petrol , zero goods ,and possibly no other shop open to buy what you need. Diabolical way to run a business, can only think they're able to write off taxes in some way. Fool me once...... Won't be back, great firms online only, next day delivery & no time & petrol wasted running around for nothing.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff and a great variety of products to suit pets. The natural dog treats are fantastic!

Used to go here when I was looking for something for my cats or fish tank, but for the last couple of times did not have good experiences. Wanted to buy some new fish and after paitenly waiting about 30 mins at the fishtanks, I dared to ask for some help from a staff member, who just ran past me and shouted back at me over his shoulder that he will come when he has time and they are understaffed. I understand that they are busy and I can wait, was not in a hurry, but already had a bad day and was not expecting to be treated like this, so just left instead. I don't think I will go back there any time soon.

A great shop for all the things you need for animals. We needed a leash for the dog and some information about Gerbils. Thank u for your help and service!

Won't be back, went with the intention of stocking up with food,cat litter and treats, I found myself without a pound coin for a trolley and asked at the counter if they could swap my coins for one, first assistant was unable to open a till, second assistant said we don't normally do that " when I said it was to enable me to shop in their store with their trolley I got attitude so told her not to bother I'd go elsewhere and left

Great stuff for dogs. I was never before in a pet store that had also pet grooming and a vet. This is amazing! Love that.Yet, I cannot give 5 points as the cages for gerbils and hamster and so on, where way to tiny! It is absolutely unacceptable to let them live in those cages. It is everything but Species-appropriate animal husbandry. Please do something for the rodent animals in your store.

Great experience. Safe for pets and they even get a little treat at the til. I love that my dog can go and pick his own toys when shopping.

The staff are always helpful, and very efficient. But most of all,always make you feel welcome, and my dog when I bring him gets a biscuit. So even he leaves the store smiling.
