Have always been happy with the care I have received from Bupa Care Tutbury and before that Tutbury Dental Practice

Friendly dentist with great staff who put you at the centre of dental care

Not happy. Rang up to book in today , I've been here for more than 10 years, explained I needed a checkup , and some extra time for some work to be done that was discussed with my dentist last time, work that had been originally done for some braces on the NHS a long time ago, but that was treated by this dentist. The receptionist was very rude, denied that I could have had that conversation as they don't do braces ,and would only book me in for a regular appointment, I explained I'm leaving the country at the end of November so it needed to be done quite quickly, as i have to wait until november for a check up apt, i knew this woukdnt be done in time if i had to book in again and it was discussed with my dentist who said to book it in at my last checkup. The receptionist then asked me to wait a moment , she thought i was on hold, or i couldnt hear whilst I could hear her talking badly about me to the other receptionist and she didn't know I could still hear. She was very rude and its not very proffessional to ring up and be able to hear receptionists basically call you liar , be rude and then say unprofessional things about you when they think they have put you on hold. Suddenly then she could book me in for the extended appointment because I told her I could hear her.

Had a small emergency the day before going on holiday and was so thrilled when the receptionist staff went and spoke directly with my dentist who offered to see me within the hour! 5 minutes of Sarah working her magic and I walked out one happy and relieved client.I felt well looked after from the moment I joined the Tutbury Bupa dental practice, never judged even though my first appointment there was after years of not seeing a dentist and always walk out feeling grateful for the care I receive there.I requested Sarah to be my dentist after a recommendation from a family member - and so glad I did! She took me on with no delay and 7 years later I wouldn't go anywhere else.

From start to finish the whole experience was painless and a pleasure, even paying was reasonable.

I get really nervous before going to see a dentist. All of the staff are welcoming and reassuring. My dentist takes time to talk through what is going to happen and why it is necessary. I feel I can ask her anything.

Dentist and Hygienist always make you feel comfortable and safe.

Nice staff friendly and polite little but pricey but good knowledge

I love this dentist. Staff are really friendly and I’ve had the most gentle teeth cleaning ever here - they’ll make you look forward to the dentist and not fear it.An added note: they have gone above and beyond to make everything as safe as possible for staff and patients, which I really appreciated. We waited in our car in the parking lot outside instead of the office and were seen quickly. I was pleasantly surprised by this, and all other measures taken. I cannot thank them enough for making sure it’s still a good experience for patients during this time.I highly recommend them if you’re looking for a new dentist.
