Edgbaston College

I had an excellent experience at Edgbaston College and achieved great results. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to be in a friendly and welcoming environment and learn from teachers who are supportive and knowledgeable about their subjects which is essential for learning. Lessons were always well structured and organised.The small number of students in each class meant that engaging with the content and understanding information was much easier than at other institutions. I am happy to have studied at Edgbaston College, where I achieved my academic goals.

I highly enjoyed my experience here and came out with top grades in my Alevels (Physics and Biology). The staff encouraged and guided us in achieving our target grades and in helping us to secure our desired university courses; I found their medical pathway programme extremely useful. I am grateful for my opportunity to study here and would thoroughly recommend students who need the extra support in applying to their dream courses to join!

Fantastic college with outstanding teachers. I owe the college a massive thank you and my deepest gratitude, I could've never improved this much in my maths without the guidance of the teachers. I feel blessed to have had such helpful and passionate teachers that always stayed behind and helped me after every class and my appreciation goes beyond words.

This year I retook my Bio A Level at Edgbaston College to improve my grade to be eligible to study VetMed. I achieved this grade and created a standout application which wouldn’t have been possible without the support I received here! Super friendly and welcoming atmosphere and people/staff who I’ll definitely stay in contact with :)

Today 19/09/2020 is my last day in at home as in the morning I’m off to Sheffield University to study Dentistry.Any off you guys looking to join a college I highly recommend Edgbaston College. It was here where I studied for my Biology and Chemistry A" levels under the guidance of Owais and his team. These guys are highly knowledgeable in their subjects and truly professional. Everyone was so helpful and all the extra sessions and help offered made all the difference. The biology teachers were amazing and I personally found the help provided from Owais when strategically choosing what universities to apply for was one of the main reasons behind my offers for medicine this year and I would definitely recommend to others!!

My daughter has progressed very well in just one term. I am so pleased to have this college. The head teacher is so attentive and caring ...makes all the difference in making sure the student achieves the best grades possible.

From A*BB to A*A*A* and studying Medicine at King's College of LondonHighly recommend for students wanting to resit Chemistry and Biology. I had personal help with lessons throughout the year, and the teachers were more than happy to sit down, explain and go through things with me. In particular, Umar - who taught Chemistry - put A LOT time and effort into answering exam questions outside of lesson time which was crucial to the exam period and a big factor in the A* I received as my result. I felt supported throughout the year by my biology teacher Rachel, who also worked as the Head Welfare officer. I can say the support she provided to all students was exception, and extremely valuable in encouraging positive mental health in the students - despite them facing challenges of many kinds (academic and non-academic). Owais - the principal - was also extremely encouraging to the students and able to offer very good advice. It was clear to me that students really wanting to turn their results around and work hard will be supported, even when feeling demotivated - as long as they are honest with the staff.

I would absolutely recommend this college to anyone who is looking to get great grades for their A levels. The small classes and one- to - one support provided, as well as the detailed guidance with ucas applications really helped me get the offers i wanted. The staff is very sweet and helpful at anytime, and the positive atmosphere within the college made me want to work harder to achieve the grades i need. I retook two of my A level subjects here and came out with A* in both of them.

I would recommend this college to anyone who is looking to retake their a-levels as the quality and standard of teaching is exceptional. The extra support and guidance from Owais and his experienced staff helped me achieve A*AA and get a place to study Medicine at Aston uni. Also a huge mention to the medicine pathway programme as it includes UCAT, personal statement and interview courses which are very useful and also the weekly Friday tests which helps you keep track of your own progress and where you need to improve. Thanks to everyone at Edgbaston college, I enjoyed my time here.
