I wonderful place to shop for fresh African foods they are accommodating and very friendly

Popped in to get some bread, the man serving was extremely polite and very helpful. The shop was nicely laid out and very clean. This shop sells afro carribean foods which are difficult to get hold of in Southend such as cornmeal, palm oil and chin chin. I was unable to have a proper look around as I was busy with my children, but ill be sure to go back. Great customer service.

Af & O foods is an African shop in the heart of the South-end-on-Sea where foods from the African continent are sold to those Africans longing to have a taste of their local meals. From this shop, raw and processed foods from Nigeria, Ghana and other African countries could be bought for the pleasure customers. The shop stocks items including garri, palm oil, African-type noodles, processed yam powder, wheat powder, yam tubers, beverages among others. Also found in the shop are cow feet for making pepper soup, dried fish, ogbono ingredients etc. Located on the ever busy London road just some few hundred meters away from the high street, it allows easy access to those willing to treat themselves to some African dishes of their choice. The shop opens Mondays to Saturdays from morning to evening.

The service is excellent. Very clean and neat environment, the staff are very helpful and friendly.

Horrible customer service, lady in the shop seemed almost angry that we were checking the items on the shelf. She also said she thinks we aren't going to buy anything. Well, after that remark, we didn't. Why work in a shop if you don't want people to check your products is beyond me.

Food customer service but still need to get more stuff for the shop. Items too limited

You get all the Nigerian foods from your catfish,goat meat,peak milk,chin chin ,palm oil,Titus fish,Ugwu and spices . My one stop shopping store for my family.

Lovely shop with essential African food. However, can't pay with ATM unless you buy anything above 5 pounds
