Free Manchester Walking Tours
Chris was a brilliant tour guide! Personable, patient and passionate (it looks like we're going with the alliteration thing, folks). I needed to leave partway through the tour but I still learned so much from Chris who was equal parts knowledgeable, funny and engaging. We sampled a bit of Mancunian history, politics, music, economics, sociology and more. Even when the skies were tipping with rain, I was still so happy to be part of the tour. The comfort break in the middle was much appreciated too.I must return to Manchester for Part 2". Thanks

Free Manchester Walking Tours
I took this tour in April led by Jack who has great insight as a local into the history of Manchester. Our group of about 10 was almost all from the UK except for 2 other Europeans and one from the US. A lot was covered and we carried on even with a little rain. Great intro to a bustling city.

Free Manchester Walking Tours
This is a very fun and informative 3hr tour. We started near the Gay Village area, and ended near the Royal Exchange Theater. Our tour guide Megan was an excellent guide and loves the city. We went on a day where it was pouring rain and there was still 10+ people all getting drenched together. It was quite the experience and we had a great time learning a little bit about the first truly industrial city's history

JACK! Is an amazing tour guide. Highly recommend you take this tour. Good fun, pace, and content focuses on Manchesters industrial history. Very enjoyable and a great way to learn about the city - other than football! The tour end might consider a bit more context when dealing with the IRA bombing & the role the British have played in Northern Ireland.

Mike was a really enthusiastic guide. He gave us a lot of information about Manchester you don’t find everywhere. It was an opportunity to walk around the city with a local. Furthermore the more touristic points, we could visit amazing spots only people from here ought to know.

This walking tour was one of the best tours I’ve ever had! Chris was amazing and funny! He told a lot of amazing information about history and life in Manchester. He was very knowledgeable and was very helping in finding ther things to do in Manchester and had loads of great recommendations. Very enjoyed the tour and would definitely recommend doing it with Chris!
