We couldn't be happier! From the planning stage to the actual day, Raini was super organised and showed a genuine interest in understanding our vision for the day. She helped us figure out our location and timeline by sending out questionnaires and putting together guides that were so helpful. It's hard to find the right words, but we LOVED every moment of our experience with Raini!We eloped to Scotland in November and chose Raini as our photographer because we loved the natural style of her photos but also because she seemed to be a nice and fun person (from what we could tell from her homepage and following her instagram for a while).From the very beginning of the planning process and our first video call we knew she was the right choice, Raini is super lovely and everything was so well organised, she regularly sent us emails containing lots of useful guides and information, reassuring words or just for making sure everything was going well with the planning.Together with her we chose our ceremony location, activities and the ideal timeline for our day.Although Raini is not a wedding planner, it was great to know she was always there to help us with questions or concerns and we never felt 'left alone' with the planning.On the morning of our elopement, my partner and I were incredibly nervous, and worried that we would be awkward in front of the camera (never had photos taken of us before), but when Raini and Dave arrived (on time and in great spirits), we quickly relaxed, and from the moment of our „first look“ everything felt completely natural and we had lots of fun!I saw couples mention it before, and it’s true - while being absolutely professional, Raini and Dave never made us feel like we were in a photoshoot but more like it was a day out with good friends, and that really helped making us feel comfortable!Raini had many great ideas and was able to capture the mood and real emotions of our day so perfectly, we can’t wait to show the whole gallery to our family and friends, and we know we will be able to relive our elopement day again and again by looking at the photos.They are much more beautiful than we could have ever hoped for, it still feels unreal to see our own faces in Rainis art that we have admired for so long :)We can 10000000 % recommend this wonderful couple as photographers (and witnesses!) for your Scotland elopement or small wedding!Oh, and if you're uncertain if 8 hours photography coverage is too much for your elopement day: it isn’t. DO IT AND DO IT NOW!! I have stalked many photographers when we decided to elope from the US and I was instantly drawn to Raini’s work. In everyone of her post I felt those moments and that’s exactly what I wanted. Not only did she make the time, she cared so much even when I felt lost and going through the trials of life and obstacles, I never felt alone. Then I met her in real life and her wonderful husband Dave, who felt like old friends. The whole experience was just FUN. I feel like many times in life you don’t get to have that childlike fun anymore and we definitely got that on our special day. We enjoyed every bit of it and getting those pictures back and video let us be sucked back in time. It’s so surreal and magical and I wish we can hang out with them all the time because it was just amazing. Their passion shows the minutes you talk to them, their art speaks volumes, and just great energy to be around during a time where it can be stressful and overwhelming and scary- it was easy and fun the most perfect people to be part of this big moment.

Raini was an absolute dream to work with! She and Dave were such a blast to be with, and it made the whole experience that much more special since it felt like we were just hanging out with old friends! Raini was SO accommodating with us in regards to scheduling video chats with her (we live in the US, so she was so nice to rearrange things to allow us to talk to her after my husband and I got off work). Not only was her website very easy to navigate, but all of her prices and everything were detailed and available to see so you knew exactly what you were signing up for, which we really appreciated! She spent so much time talking with us to help plan our day and everything that I felt that we were not just getting a photographer; Raini was so much more to us. I cannot stress enough how much help she provided and how much she did for us to make our special day absolutely perfect!As for the photos…I think you can see for yourself just how talented and amazing Raini is as a photographer! I was absolutely blown away by the photos we got back; every single one was perfect!We also had the opportunity to have a boudoir session done by raini and Dave as well. I have to admit, never having done one before, I was nervous about it, but Raini and Dave made us both feel very comfortable and relaxed and the pictures turned out great!If you are looking for a photographer who will hike mountains in the highlands with you, who will stay up late with you to get the most breathtaking lantern-glowing night-time photos for you, all while making you feel like you’ve been friends for ages, then book with Raini!

We contacted Raini for our scotthish elopement and couldn't have asked for a more kind and lovely soul. She took us to the best places on the Isle of Skye, the whole day passed by so quickly and we had the best experience ever. We felt so connected to each other and Raini always made sure we were comfortable and at ease. As a fellow elopement photographer I can only say that this was my favourite moment with my partner, and that we didn't need anything more for our day to be more symbolic and magical. I'll never forget this day and we'll be forever grateful to Raini for crafting this entire experience. If you're looking for a beautiful, fun and genuine person, don't go anywhere else ! We are so thankful that we had such a loving and talented photographer capture our big day. Raini was so helpful throughout the whole planning process as we were pretty clueless about what to do. She helped to build excitement for the big day, including the most thoughtful small things, and most importantly ensured it went smooth as. Both her and Dave were professional and fun on the day and captured all the most important moments in such a natural and beautiful way. Raini and her husband Dave are not only brilliant photographers they are also amazingly helpful and full of knowledge and advice, which was brilliant when planning a small wedding. Raini was able to advise on things I hadn't even thought about to ensure that we not only got amazing wedding pictures but enjoyed the day as well! Our photographs are beautiful and Raini and Dave were both such fun to work with - all our guests love our pictures and commented on how nonintrusive they were on the day which I think is just what you want!

Our photo session with Raini is something we’ll never forget!What a fantastic day we had! We sought engagement photos from the city where we first met, Edinburgh, and we were absolutely thrilled! Our session lasted approximately 4 hours, providing more than enough time to capture all our desired shots at the various locations we had previously decided upon with her.Right from the outset, Raini exuded calmness, kindness, and warmth (and during a chance encounter with an injured fox, we discovered her wonderful, caring nature for animals in need). Her presence made us feel incredibly relaxed, and she promptly got the session underway. Raini's familiarity with Edinburgh led her to choose some fantastic spots for us, including a few delightful surprises along the way! She really caters to and listened to us, accommodating those who love the wild outdoors as well as those who prefer a more city-based setting. We were able to tell her what poses we might not be comfortable with, and some more wild things to try.From the initial inquiry, our first meeting, to the actual day, Raini was highly attentive to our needs as a couple, instilling confidence in our choice of photographer. Her keen eye for detail, capturing the perfect candid shots was evident throughout. We've only seen the sneak peeks of our session, and GASPED audibly. We were blown away by the images we've received so far and cannot wait to see the rest of them.Overall we are so happy with our experience and would 100% recommend Raini for your photography occasion!
