Starplatforms is great company to complete you IPAF training. Took my 3B training there and had a great time. Training started on time and not too difficult to find. The instructor Martin was very knowledgeable and had great sense of humour to get the important points to stick in our brains. The equipment was first class and we were really made to feel welcome. I feel confident now to use the Cherry pickers on our site and would not hesitate to complete another course with StarPlatforms.

Most impressive company, Jack Miller popped into our office and persuaded us to give them a try as opposed to the national company we were using, and boy are we glad we did, cheaper, more efficient, always happy to go out and survey the sites we are using the machinery and the recommend the best one that will fit into the tights areas we are working, get to the right height and so on, Very very friendly company and even when you phone up whilst doing their best to get what you need, they are happy to engage in conversation to pass the time on the call, no-one likes awkward silences whilst waiting. Cannot recommend this company highly enough, and we would recommend to anyone who asked.

I note the number of words used on in these supposed reviews,, some reviews have zero words so it seems that little effort has gone into writing any of them, which leads me to suspect that none are genuine?This company employs training staff who liberally use four letter expletives , their attitude seems both aggressive , critical and confrontational and their general bad attitude seems to be held as a badge of honour. This, together with the fact that their administration is total chaos leads me to suggest you would be better served by another company.If I could give minus 5 stars I would.Update, about 18 months after my review above. Having further experience of this company's service, let me assure you that nothing has changed, other then the liberal used of four letter expletives seems to have increased.

We spend a lot of money on access machinery each year and Star Platforms is absolutely our most reliable and dependable supplier for them!First stop for cherry pickers and scissors lifts. 5 Star service and and help along with making sure that we have what we need when we need it. Highly recommended!

If there was an option for no starts thats what I would give this company.I booked a Training course a few weeks ago and I have to say there training was very poor instructor Rob was rude, sarcastic and any but helpful.He’s way of training was using me as an example of not what todo and belittling people, Rather than explaining where I was going wrong.I explained to the company I had never used an any machine before and they insured me that the training would sort that and explain everything. That was not true.After the course I called the office to explain what went on, I was told after a few days that the instructor was old and they are waiting on him to retire. But they would do a full investigation,Which they came back saying that they have spoken to the instructor and told him he needs to know how to read a room!I was going to send other 3 of my employees on this course but after my experience I would definitely be using another company.I will be waiting for a full refund.

Dealing with this company was the most painful experience I have ever had They are dismissive with extremely poor level of customer service to a level that one would think it would be impossible this day an age. I do not believe a word is said in 5 star reviews (even 1 star is too much!) about this company. I hired a machine with their operator. The operator got the machine stuck on a spot within 10 minutes! It turned out that it was not even an operator, it was his first day, he was an electrician. When I complained, this company's (so called) director Brian tresspassed on to my property and threatened me. But what he found is more than what he bargained for. He ended up paying all the cost in full! Arrogance, intimidation, bullying, and total lack of care summarises this company. I would not even give them 1 star but sadly that is the default for Google.

First time i have used this company and i must say its been a pleasure to deal with them, from start to finish the service was excellent with prompt quoting, invoicing, delivery and collection and i hope to use them again in the future
