Really liked this branch I popped into today... All staff on tills were female which is nice for me as a female tradesperson. Organised and great customer service (sisters doing it for themselves in a male dominated environment is a power charge for me)

Ordered online and picked up in store. Delivered on day promised. Nice friendly staff. Huge choice of goods for all price ranges. Small carpark and weird one car width passage to get on/off. But minor issue.

As always they have exactly what I wanted, nice and easy to pick up items at store. Only criticism is the hand sanitiser as you enter the store was empty, given the current pandemic this is not acceptable.

Screwfix just lost me as a customer. I ordered online and used the app to check in to collect. Sadly I met a typical racist who said she has to verify my card is not stolen. When asked why she said anyone who buys power tools online has to be checked their card is not stolen. There were people collecting their tools who bought online while she was telling me this lie. I did the check them returned all the stuff I bought for a refund. My skin colour does not make me a criminal screwfix.

It was ok only because of the queuing up you have to do and that can waste around 30 minutes or so depending on the length of the queue. The staff seemed happy, polite and helpful. There was a lot more room to move around if needed compared to their other stores such as the one in Wednesbury. You will have to be very careful when driving up the alleyway to get to the entrance because you can only get a single car/van or vehicle - lorries will not be able to get through, pass at any one time. That is the only entrance and exit point from the store.

Purchased numerous items including a tub of wallpaper adhesive. As I was leaving the cashier spotted that I had been given tile adhesive instead.I would have put all the products in the boot and driven home before realising the mistake. I didn't like the picker's attitude either.Won't be returning.
