Food is well prepped and tasty as hell. Cakes? Forget about it! These do the BEST cakes. I don’t understand why people go to Greggs directly across the road, it licks balls compared to this place. Staff are a good laugh too.

Bought a mince pie, actually raw on the inside, with pink, hard, mince. Will never buy from here again.

Placed a bulk order to serve at my late mothers memorial. Quality of food was good. Customer service and order accuracy was very poor. They agreed to make sandwiches when i telephoned but refused when i went to place order in person. They offered bread buns i could fill myself! The order I received was short of 10 scones. The pink iced cakes i ordered were red, white and blue instead with no apology or explanation. The whole process was about what was convenient for them, not me. Although the quality of food was good, I felt I was very poorly served and cheated, having paid for some food that was not supplied. On balance I would not recommend or use again.

Im there every other day. Really nice hot breakfast and pastries. Sandwiches are filling,but all of the cakes are beautiful.Would always come in here and swerve Greggs over the road,theres no comparison.

Terrific flapjack with jam. Quality sandwiches. Give Greggs a miss and cross the road to this outstanding Independent establishment today !

I love the sandwiches from here. Always freshly prepared and they give you loads of filling and dont skimp on the meat. The cakes are to die for and the breakfasts are reasonably prices too. The girls in the shop are friendly and will happily have a chat with you!

The best cream cakes in the city their meringues and peach Melba are incredible. Staff are friendly and chatty. Don't bother with Gregg's, cross the road and support an independent business.
