Ordered my scran at half 7 it's now half past 9 and I'm still waiting. Should have put my order in last Friday it might have come by now. Starting to think Lucky Date is actually in China and not Carlisle . Are they cooking my salt and pepper chicken by leaving it next to a high wattage light bulb? Are they frying my rice by the grain?Peeling the spuds with a pencil sharpener? Fuming as well cos I had a white magnum in the freezer for my afters but that's gone already because I'm obviously pya hungry. I rang up to find out what's happening with my food and was on hold for 5 minutes while they were looking for my order which isn't great. I think I'm starting to hallucinate a little bit as well now the couch is beginning to look like a spring roll. I just want curry sauce coursing through my veins, is that too much to ask? This is the worst Friday of my life.

Don't live local but every time I'm in Carlisle this is my go to Chinese. Food is always hot. Fresh, plentiful and real good value for money. I would say restaurant quality food. Keep it up.

Spend over £20 and you get free prawn crackers and mini spring rolls, food is tasty too

Got shredded peking chicken, egg frid rice and chips ..They chucked in some free vegetable spring rolls .Food was hot and tasty.Good portions, shared it with the Mrs.Long delivery time but to be fair I ordered peak time on a Friday night.Driver was pleasant and polite .

I really enjoyed my meal. I was late phoning order in. It was near closing time, but they were nice and let me order.It looked like a small family run business, good menu to my liking. I was happy with the price, not expensive.The meal came in good time and nice and hot.I got a free bag of prawn crackers because I spent over £5 and also a free bag of vegetable spring roll because I spent over £15.My meal was only £17 in total for 4 items. So with the extra free items there was loads of food. The portion size is good.The collection area was clean and covid restrictions of 3 people to collect at a time.which was good screens up too.I would definitely go back and I would recommend this place to my friends and family .

Ordered at 7pm it’s now 10.45 and still no food! The wait is ridiculous! Phoned to see where it was about an hour ago and it was out with the driver…he’s either walking here with it from china, buggered off home with it for his tea or it’s not coming! Either way I’m absolutely starving! Will definitely NOT be ordering from here again!

My order of Chinese arrived 5 minutes before timer up, the sweet and sour pork was mushy and had a foul dog meat smell/taste, the chips were airy and overcooked. I have had only a mouthful of the food. The customer service I received from the boss was unreasonable and difficult to understand. The boss said I had to take my order back tomorrow to get a refund, which is 4 miles away, I explained I am severely disabled. This has left me extremely upset and now too late to order another Chinese.Would not order again from this place.
