Great weekend of BJJ. Fantastic access to blackbelt tutors throughout meant I got huge tips and details for alot more than the techniques taught by Sam. Sam is awesome and really patient as well as hilarious.

I recently attended the blue belts camp, and had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed, the content was useful and the mats were clean. Sam's teaching is detailed and personalised, and his manner is chill. Surprisingly not actually a cult. 5 stars

I've attended a few camps at Lakes BJJ over the years. The instruction is always top notch, with high level instructors. Q&As always form part of the camps for troubleshooting, and plenty of rolls to be had. Very well equiped gym, and good coffee too :-).

Just come off a full on but very fun ju jitsu weekend white belt camp at Phoenix Fitness in Kendal with a fantastic coach and group of people. I learnt so much. The gym’s mat space is great, with fully equipped changing rooms for men and women. It even has its own coffee bar with the best locally roasted coffee - highly recommend!

It's a well run, friendly camp set in a beautiful part of the country. The instruction and q and a's were spot on and I have plenty to take home and work on for the next few months. Would recommend and do one again!
