I had an urgent bookbinding requirment for my university submission and Bristol Bound were incredible - they were already busy, they said, but managed to bind five copies of my work for me earlier than they initially estimated as well - less than a week! Richard at Bristol Bound Bookbinding printed and bound my family history, which was in 3 volumes. The quality of work was excellent, so much so that my brother, sister and I ordered an additional 4 sets of the volumes as gifts for other family members.A very nice family business that is easy to work with.

I have contacted Richard to make a one off copy of a book I wanted to offer my girlfriend for her birthday. The work done on the book and quality of finish was incredible. You can tell they put so much love into doing their art. I am very please with the results. Very professional from beginning to end, and good and honest communication. They did my master's dissertation for uni. Very quick and efficient but more importantly Rachel and Richard are lovely people to deal with. My final submission was delivered against signature several days early! Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for and I will use them next time as well. Strongly recommended. Don't use the big national chains, they don't know or care what you want, but Bristol Bound do.

For some time I have been making a fabric book recording events throughout my life. I needed some way of bringing it altogether in one place. I contacted Bristol Bound Bookbinding and spoke with Rachel. We talked through various options until she suggested a robust drop-over box, covered in buckram, something which I had not previously considered. We chose the colours, a vibrant purple for the outside and a burnt orange for the interior. Rachel also suggested an idea for two inlay fabric details.The finished box was absolutely stunning, exactly what I had hoped for. The quality of work was truly outstanding. I can’t thank Rachel enough for her insight and sensitivity to my project.

Excellent service from Bristol Bound! I've been to a few bookbinders before to bind my architectural portfolios and none have been as lovely as the lady and her husband who run this one. They are very patient and this is hard to find for a stressed out student! Would recommend to all fellow architecture students. They are the best !
