very rude unfriendly owner.hate to say it but you ruined it for the pub next door. used to come here for years now the tea room and antique shop next door pestering bikers parking outside. not sure will be coming back again. shame because it is a lovely pub.

Finchingfield Antiques is a beautiful shop run by a wonderful, friendly and well respected couple who have been in the village for many years, previously running a very successful restaurant. Peter and Mary are very well liked and always very entertaining to talk to also. Fantastic place, fantastic people.

Whenever I go to Finchingfield I always pop into this brilliant antique shop for a look around. It has soooooo much interesting stuff and the building has loads of tiny rooms and hallways so it's like a maze/treasure trove of antiques. It's not even really that expensive. Well worth an hour of your day.

I live in Northamptonshire and visit Finchingfield Antiques about once a year and buy very little. In March 2018 I telephoned the owner from another part of the country and asked him about buying two sedan clocks from a local shop to me. The clocks were damaged but 'probably' repairable, but not being an expert I did not have a clue. The owner was most helpful and very knowledgable. He did not make one penny from the very useful information he gave me!
