Idle Recreation Ground
This would be a cracking park if kids didn't come along and wreck it all the time. They are always throwing rubbish about instead of putting it in the bin, throwing the swings up so little 'uns can't get on them. But saying that, in summer its grand, especially for the kids or for a dog walk. You can even watch a bit of bowling, or take the kids to the swings and the skate board part.So its a okay Park, but not when full of school kids....

A lovely little park, well maintained, nice play area for small children. Skate park for older children and a bowling green for adults.Plenty of litter bins around too but unfortunately a lot of people do not use them.

I walk my dog here. I'm afraid I find the ground not a very pleasant area compared with other recreational areas. Litter is a massive problem Whilst there is a play area for the children the skate park seems to rule the rec.and the so called exercise equipment at the top of the park is sadly neglected.

Idle Recreation Ground
Great park for a walk around or relaximg, not much on offer in terms of things to do but the park is well kept and in a nice area with plenty of parking. I use it a lot for outdoor training with my client's from the gym next to it.
