Barnes Brothers Fencing

I recently had a feather edged fence installed for me by this company in Edgeware, HA8. The quality of the work carried out is well below standard. They charge alot of money for a poorly installed fence. One thing that became apparent to me whilst they were installing the fence is that they take advantage of elderly folks ignorance and lack of building work knowledge. I ended up having a falling out with my neighbour, another elderly couple, as a result of my fence encroaching into their land. This company argued with my neighbour when they were confronted. Tradesmen should not get involved in in civil matters between 2 neighbours. The concrete fence posts that they erected were not installed using fence post concrete, hence the posts are not plumb. The gravel boards were also not fitted correctly, they installed the clean side of the featheredge on my side, whilst leaving the Arris rails on my neighbours side. I eventually had to pay another company £2500 to fix the badly installed fence. This is not a company that I would recommend.

Really fantastic family business! They constructed a supberb fence for us; weve never experienced workmanship like theirs before. Each piece of wood was nailed individually to the frame in the traditional way and not supplied in panels.The fence has been much admired by friends and neighbours. Thank you Barnes Bros!"

I had bespoke work done by Barnes Brothers over the summer and my garden now has a peaceful and tranquil environment. Mr Barnes and his team were efficient, friendly and I would highly recommend their workmanship.
