Couldn’t post something in my letterbox tried twice to post and tried my neighbour but they didn’t. The item would easily fit in my letterbox. Didn’t need a signature.

went to collect letter which was purported to be under paid. Lady put finger over bar code and said it was because of queens head. Rubbish. All bar coded stamps still valid. Went back told that it was overweight. Weighed identical letter at home 80Grams, so well within 100g limit. Other exactly the same communication delivered and so could not be thickness. LOWESTOFT office on the make???Result I did not get my letter but since a letter sent out by a club and hence many, (All of which delivered except mine) What do we do??Looking for explanation from MANAGER at Lowestoft and my letter.

What's the point of having a Post Office if it's hardly ever open? They seem to be deliberately avoiding customers at all costs. Some of us actually do work, so opening for 2 hours a day (if they don't close early) isn't exactly convenient.

Excellent service. But please check opening hours before your journey. Example. Open only 8am till 10am Monday to Friday. But Thursday also 16:00 till 18:00. Best bet is Saturday. 08:00 till 12noon

Friendly, polite & efficient staff at all times :0)Update * 5/8/23...how are ppl who work full time & shifts supposed to collect ? Opening 0800-1000 every weekday with one added 1600-1800 on Thursdays plus closing at midday on a Saturday.It's impossible for me to get my mail now with these new times.I arrange for any larger items to be delivered on my day off..& pay the appropriate postage.But they are rarely delivered on time. Always later than they say. Then I'm faced with these ridiculous collection times.There's nothing available if you work after 1800.From now on I will have to look at alternative couriers.The PO is going to lose a lot of customers

Utterly nonsensical opening hours. How does a huge depot that operates in a decent sized town have such finite times? The amount of revenue RM must get from their ever increasing delivery prices, you should be able to afford decent opening times.No wonder most posties try and ask neighbours to take in packages instead.

Need to collect a parcel, make sure you get there in their ridiculously short opening hours, 2 hours most days, sorry if you work, you're screwed.

Not good they, told me they could not help. This is Lowestoft post office headquarters. My parcel is late. The day My parcel was to arrive from Amazon was the 5th December 2022. It was sent via Royal mail it is still not arrived and it is the 12th December . This parcel is important. It is 6nobs for our gas cooker which is to replace them as they have all have worn-out. It looks like we will keep eating sandwiches for Christmas .KeithButler .
