COUNCILS WERE CREATED FOR LOW INCOME PEOPLE YET FORCE YOU INTO THE PRIVATE RENTED SECTOR! I went to this council for help as a vulnerable adult fleeing domestic abuse and homelessness and Elena" outright told me "I don't think you're fleeing abuse" - she isn't the triage there and had no right to say that. I also have mental health issues that have gotten worse due to the treatment I have received. Absolutely disgusting how they treat women in particular here."

Some streets in mansfield are paying their normal council tax bills yet are not having their green bins emptied regardless if the contracted company that sorts this waste is on strike, you as a council should have a back up plan for things like this. It is quite frankly disgusting some streets are still getting emptied and some are not all because these bin men are having to travel further. It is not our problem. This is your problem. We are paying tax as normal so this should be solved by yourselves. It has been 5+ days now since ours was due. Sort this out mansfield council.

Can't even fill a pothole properly which sums up the council, my biggest issue right now is the poor management of the Focus point field supposedly managed" by them

I WOULD GIVE IT ZERO STARS IF I COULD. MISINFORMED ABOUT A HOUSING APPLICATION. WASTED TIME AND MONEY FOR NOTHING . SEEMS TO ME THAT HOMEFINDER HAVEN'T GOT A CLUE. I'M BEING POLITE. CAN'T PUT DOWN WHAT I REALLY WANT TO...... IT WOULDN'T GET PRINTED......

Absolute state of Mansfield roads, tempted to start uploading Youtube videos showing how useless these people actually are....potholes look worse after they've repaired them! still waiting for 3 massive potholes on my street to be filled that you can actually see on google maps from like 8 months ago.You can see why people just fill them themselves! honestly believe i could buy a mag of concrete from B&Q and do a better job than these trained professionals" who cant even fill a pothole level! one road near four ways has about 7 massive potholes in a row that they've filled maybe 4 times now? why not just resurface it? last time i checked a pothole repair was to fill a hole so you cant even feel it not fill a hole uneven so it still bangs or overfill it so its basically a speed bump!Useless! about time we all stopped paying council tax until they fix our roads

Mansfield district council are a disgrace, how they've made my partners mum live who is disabled and living in a bungalow is horrific and negligent.Mould - every single room has mould that has got worse and worse over the YEARS of the council failing to sort it, its taken them over a year to send two useless clowns to install two vents that the covers are held up by tape! mould is all over everything its under the wallpaper the floors if a inspector came they'd probably order the house to be knocked down, people with health issues being forced to live with mould you can't make this up! I MYSELF had to clean every single room and paint it all with mould paint out my own pocket and time because there was no way i would wait another 30 years for council to come back and do it as my guess is they'd clean it then just paint a wall and leave rather than the whole rooms.Security - only recently have they came and fitted a new front door that for years was rotted and with a big kick would probably just open, back door is also rotted and barely locks, i had to replace the lock and install a metal support bracket onto the back door! the living room door handle doesn't work on one side so you can get stuck in the living room if the door is closed which again these are disabled tenants! even a paramedic was disgusted with how this poor woman has to live its like they want to kill the old off as they just think meh we just wont turn up or we'll wait 10 years as we can get away with it.Kitchen - completely rotting and falling to bits, worktop on one side is caving in and would have collapsed if i didn't install support posts under it, only 1 plug socket out of 3 in there worksOther useless jobs- guttering has been shot for months they sent someone to replace it all and to be fair they did a good job HOWEVER while fitting this they managed to break the TV ariel and a tile so now not only have i had to fix the TVs in the house but also a hole in their roof! they have 5 radiators and only 3 work also, front and back fences were rotted and collapsing onto their neighbours side so had to install fence supports all along them to keep them up, rear gate they installed fell off the wall after 2 months and with her having a support dog I MYSELF had to make a new gate and install it.The way they treat people living in council houses is criminal and its about time they were held to account! i have had to spend my own money and time fixing up their bungalow just so my partners mum can live in it, if health inspectors or whoever they are wasn't in the councils pocket they would have declared this bungalow a hazard and failed it for multiple violations and with talking to neighbours they've also been waiting for council to do something for them and are also forced to live in a state.

The Internet option does not tell you when your glass Bin will be emptied when they've missed it. Try phoning up and calls don't get answered. Online just says wait and they'll do it when they're ready....Obviously they must realise that they're not providing a good reliable service - don't think they care either and we have no alternative. Not as if we can sack them and get a more reliable company to collect our waste.Would be zero stars if there was an option. Currently rated 1.6 out of 5 which if you could vote zero would be significantly lower....

Horrendous to deal with, rude staff, constant lies from them regarding workmen coming out, the list goes on and on! Despicable if I could give no stars I would!

My call was answered without delay with a recorded message giving options and warning of possible delays, however once I'd made my selection my call was answered immediately by a very pleasant operator who guided me to a new application form that has just come into operation. Despite being 81, I found what I needed, removal of a bulky item and the form was easy to complete, as was payment for the service. In just a few minutes everything was organized and collection date arranged.I then arranged for assisted bin collection as I'm struggling to get the bins out, again this was an easy process.
