Excellent place to visit if you get chance to see progress on rare RAF aircraft like the HP Hampden restoration as well as the Dornier 17 fished out of the sea off the Kent coast.

A rare opportunity to see behind the scenes of how the RAF museum conservation team work. Only open to a small number of the public one week in the year. Well worth the money to see the aircraft in there.

A must visit place for all those aviation enthusiasts interested in seeing 'behind the scenes' regarding restoring and preserving our aviation heritage.Was fortunate to have a guided tour from the man in charge, Darren Priddy.His passion and depth of knowledge of all things aviation was amazing.Due to covid restrictions the Conservation Centre is not open for museum visitors but will hopefully be having some open days in 2022.
