Worse customer experience I’ve ever come across in my life at Park Cameras in Burgess Hill. 0 stars. Just rude and ridiculous. I’ve been a loyal customer with Park Cameras for a long time and have purchased many items from them. Never had any issues.Today I came in to the shop as I spoke over the phone to someone who said I can part exchange my camera. When I got there this was refused by Jamie (who was serving me) which was not an issue as I was still keen to purchase my new camera. Jamie had a very horrible attitude towards me and my wife the moment we walked in. I was then told they wouldn’t give me a 2 year finance option as “they only do 1 year option” which I then showed him that online it showed 2 years.We proceed with wanting to purchase the camera once he said we can do the 2 year finance option. Passed the credit score test and gave him my driving licences as my ID.He asked me to sign a piece of paper then proceeds to bring out a MAGNIFYING GLASS!! to check my signature. Bear in mind there is a photo of me on the front of the driving licence. He then proceeded to refuse to serve me as my signature was not “identical”. Now you tell me who can do their signature EXACTLY identical every-time. No one.We then called to complain to a guy called Tom who told us to come back in. When we walked in again Jamie straight away asked him to come to the back to then refuse to serve us again. I have been a regular customer and have always paid but yet today I was treated disgustingly and the whole experience was just outrageous. Wouldn’t recommend this store to anyone. The staff really need to learn how to treat customers.

Great experience purchasing the start of my first 'Pro grade' gear at Park Cameras. Ryan was extremely helpful, polite, enthusiastic and helped me make a decision between the 3 lenses that I was trying to decide between. Well worth the trip will be coming back for my 2nd lens in the coming months.

My son Purchased a Canon 80d but it arrived with a fault. Called them the next day & they were really helpful! Drove to the store that afternoon and they arranged an exchange. All sorted very swiftly. Very helpful friendly staff. I now have a happy son again! Thanks so much. Look forward to purchasing from you again.

I told my wife that I wanted to visit Park Cameras to purchase a lens I had my eye on. She expressed concern, given that it involved a 60-mile round trip. Nonetheless, I assured her that I would make a quick stop, pay, and return home promptly so we could go out. Upon arriving at the Burgess Hill store, I found it nearly empty, but the visible staff were occupied with other customers. I patiently waited for my turn behind another waiting couple who were before me.After waiting for 25 minutes, one of the staff members became available. However, the couple ahead of me wanted to trade in multiple lenses and cameras, prolonging the waiting process. Since another staff member was still engrossed in a lengthy discussion with a father and son about camera issues, I approached the remaining staff member, hoping to quickly purchase the lens I had come for without extensive discussions. Unfortunately, he informed me that everyone was busy and insisted that I wait.Frustrated with the situation, I explained that I merely wanted to pay and leave, but he remained adamant about making me wait. Consequently, I decided to leave without making a purchase. This experience disappointed me, as I have been a loyal customer of Park Cameras for many years. However, it seems that their efficiency and service have declined.Dealing with lengthy discussions and processes while customers wait to make simple purchases is unacceptable. I read a similar review about Park Cameras written just four weeks ago, indicating that this issue is not isolated.Clearly, there are problems at Park Cameras that require attention. I have learned my lesson, and I won't bother visiting the Burgess Hill store if I need to make a quick purchase. There are plenty of other camera equipment sources available, often at more competitive prices, making it easier to get what I need without unnecessary delays. Just this weel I saved over 200 pounds buying a Sony 20mm to 70mm F4 earlier from Amazon and I don't know what possessed me to waste my time and petrol visiting Park Cameras today.

Right where to start, After leaving a bad revue a few weeks ago and saying i would never use park again, Things have changed first the problem i had was sorted very quickly turned out it was a computer error, Secondly i sold some gear to park not only was it collected from my house the next day to be appraised but i got a quote the same day, Thirdly the money was in my account within 3 working days it lasted in my account about 2hrs before i bought a lens from them. I can only say everyone i spoke to at park were nothing less than professional, Would i buy kit from park cameras again yes i would they have now become my go to dealer wether i'm selling or buying. Thank you guys at Park Cameras it was a real pleasure doing business with you. Sorry i can only give you five stars you deserve more.

Absolutely horrible customer service. Very Rude towards my father in law who was a loyal customer for years. They tried to refuse him service because his signature was not “identical” to the one on his driving licence which clearly has a photo of him on the front. They do not know how to treat customers. Would not purchase anything from them. The guys name is Jamie - and he was very rude through the whole process.

Thank you to Steve, the helpful gentleman who assisted me in finding my new camera. As a complete beginner, I explained my preferences to him, and he managed to locate the exact camera I was seeking! The camera brand new would originally cost me £800, but I was fortunate enough to acquire it second hand for a mere £200+. Such a deal! Once again, thank you Steve, and I genuinely hope that the company treats you well.

I recently built a new Olympus mft based system with Sharon and the manager at Park Cameras. I found the advice and opportunity to try before buying very helpful as had been looking at the new Panasonic G9ii.I also ordered a few things online after and found their service and communications excellent.I particularly like their use of a high proportion of sustainable packaging...it's good to see local companies getting more sustainable. A definite plus point imho

After having my passport photo rejected 2 times these guys helped resolve this and were brilliant in understanding. Also amazing woth my 18 month old. So patient highly recommend

Don’t buy camera equipment or binoculars via the Internet but come here instead.Excellent service. I got the chance to test 8 different pairs of binoculars and got a great pair for less than I would have paid via Amazon.Great range of quality equipment with large stock of Nikon, Canon, Pentax etc. They also do repairs and printing.
